A COZY SEASONAL WINTER 2022 POTENTIAL TO BE READ LIST

Here we are. Another TBR list and though I’m still in the same place about reading or following TBRs, I still love creating lists and as a result, let’s make a winter 2022 TBR list. It’s also just a fun time to look at the books that look like good picks for our winter TBR.

Our collection today is an odd blend of genres and books on my TBR vs those that have yet to release, but do in the seasonal TBR timeframe (meaning it’s pre a spring TBR list). Plus this is really the only time of year I’m for reading Christmas fiction. Of course, this also applies to November reading, too, but mostly, it’s prime Christmas reading time during December. So, while I won’t curate a TBR list fully of Christmas regards, we are in mid-December already (!!), we will pick out a few. Let’s go.

WINTER 2022 TBR LIST

WHEN IN ROME, SARAH ADAMS

Yes just had this one on a list. But we’re including it again because who doesn’t love a rom-com. Goodreads

SO, THIS IS LOVE, TRACY ANDREEN

It’s a Christmas novel, so it’s kind of a must. Just seems like it could be a fun read and one that I fully intended to read last year. Plus, the author has a sequel coming next week. Goodreads

A THOUSAND HEARTBEATS, KIERA CASS

We all know I love a fun and guilty pleasure read from Kiera Cass. Especially curious to read this since I felt like Cass’ first release post The Selection was way to similar to her debut novel. This one sounds similar too, but I’m hoping it reads different. The plot explores two different classes with a princess and the boy who knows nothing other than duty as a soldier. Goodreads

ROSEWOOD, SAYANTANI DASGUPTA (MARCH)

Described as a bright and funny version of Sense and Sensibility. Don’t know much about this beyond that, so this is definitely a title that sounds fun, but I’m reserving an opinion on yet. Goodreads

A ROYAL CHRISTMAS WEDDING, RACHEL HAUCK

I read the other books in this series by Rachel, which means the fact that I haven’t read this reunion Christmas love story romance set in the same world is embarrassing. What is wrong with me? Plus, it’s one of my favorite fiction varieties not just by genre, but because it’s a shorter novel too. Goodreads

DEAR HENRY, LOVE EDITH, BECCA KINZER (JANUARY)

This one sounds darling following a woman renting a home who continues to miss the person she’s renting from so instead they leave notes for each other never realizing their impression of the other person isn’t exactly who they are. Goodreads

PRETTY LITTLE PIECES, CARMEN SCHOBER

Carmen’s Christian published novels tend to challenge the “pretty picture” filter most Christian art has. I may not always agree with everything authors of this type of genre belief or say, but I always admire when an author does this. For the genre, Becky Wade is another author who does this and I’m glad to have discovered Carmen’s books too. This follows an influencer who seems to have it all until she doesn’t. Goodreads

THE SOUND OF LIGHT, SARAH SUNDIN (FEBRUARY)

Always a fan of Sarah Sundin’s books. I didn’t love the first book in this series as much as I have prior of her novels (just because I didn’t ever fully warm to the hero), but I’m still going to read to read her novels and this upcoming release is no different. Only question is, the “when” of my reading it. Goodreads

Thanks so much for visiting. As always I’m grateful. I always intend to visit your spaces promptly, but life sometimes gets in the way. Either way, I will visit your website and am grateful you visit here. Thank you.

Have you read any of these? Would you? What type of Christmas fiction reader are you? Do you make seasonal TBRs? Comment all the comments. Let’s meet up in the comments and chat.

Thank you for visiting; please do come back soon.

    1. Hope you enjoy ‘Dear Henry,’ Cindy!! I did want to snag an ARC of that but they just had digital copies left and I’m not longer a girl owning a Kindle. Which is fine since Kindle reading isn’t my thing. ;) Hope your daughter enjoys Kiera’s novel!! It looks good. :)

        1. I use it here and there, too. It does work and if there’s time to spare, even on a screen, having the option to read is way better. My mom LOVES Kindle reading and I know many enjoy it. I think for me, it’s more that I sit in front of a screen to do all of this (plus watch content) and to put together graphics or social media, etc. So because of that I think I the idea of my reading not involving a screen seems better. :)

    1. That’s a great idea! There’s something about January and Christmas reading or films that’s still cozy and kind of like a gradual pull back to reality. ;)
