Dying for Chocolate: A Curious Caterer (2022) Hallmark TV Film Review
Starting a business as a mother in the aftermath of her divorce, Goldy Berry (Nikki Deloach) is working hard to make a success of her catering work. She’s starting with a booster club event and picking up private party events. At the end of the event, she and her good friend have plans to meet. Only while on the way there, she comes on an accident scene that she learns is her friend.
In the aftermath of her death, Goldy gets caught up in solving the mystery with a recent police detective transfer Tom Schultz (Andrew Walker). As they uncover clues, they must discover why Laura died and what secret she held.

🍫🔍‘DYING FOR CHOCOLATE: A CURIOUS CATERER’ REUNITES HALLMARK STARS🔍🍫 ANDREW WALKER STARS IN 2022 MOVIE. #HALLMARK #HALLMARKMOVIE #ANDREWWALKER #MYSTERY Share on XAfter starring together in more than one film, Hallmark veterans Nikki Deloach and Andrew Walker feature here. ‘A Curious Caterer’ is definitely a film that will appeal to regular network fans because of this. The film follows normal mystery patterns if you enjoy these films or watched the older style mysteries on the network. There’s a group of characters who make up the suspect list.
Dying for Chocolate: A Curious Caterer is entertaining and features good interactions between Walker and Deloach. Lots of fun moments and a sense of “familiar” because of their former work together. Everyone is good in their roles and I did enjoy the more “homey” aspects of the story when scenes take place in places like Goldy’s kitchen.
In the end, the film is solid. It’s one of two, and possibly a series with rumors of a third. Here’s hoping this is the start of more to come.
