Passionate about her work Eva (Margaret Clunie) is a beekeeper and apiary owner with a love for nature and planting things relating to her knowledge of her beekeeping. Equally passionate about his work is Austen Morgan (Andrew Walker), an archeologist who is guest lecturing in Malta.
As the two find out their knowledge compliments each other, Austen and Ava discover they may be good partners to work together on a project.

‘FOR LOVE AND HONEY’: ANDREW WALKER TRAVELS TO MALTA IN ROMANCE. #AndrewWalker stars in this 2024 #Hallmark romance. Share on XWhile the setting is fun, which is visiting an overseas locale, everything else about this is nearly a copy and paste repeat of any other film you’ll find on Hallmark. There’s a meet cute that doesn’t end up being cute (because the two fight) and then there is the project bringing the two together that allows them both to get to know one another better.
I don’t love the way For Love and Honey “frames” or sets up some of its scenes, but again, it’s basically similar to the rest of the film you’ll see from this production company. While Andrew Walker is an actor most of us will have seen in many of these, Margaret is new to Hallmark, and I love when we see unfamiliar actors star in these. It’s always fun.
Mainly I didn’t really get into this film. Odd since usually I like the films featuring Walker, but it just isn’t my kind of movie this time. Visiting Malta in this will reveal two characters passionate about their work and also a bit of romance, too.

Content: nothing to note that goes beyond the normal TV-G rating. There’s kisses but the film doesn’t go beyond that.
