Two Scoops of Italy (2024) Hallmark TV Film Review
Missing something from her life, namely the ability to work up a menu for the restaurant she was forced to temporarily close due to lack of interesting, Danielle (Hunter King) needs inspiration. Her best friend and investor encourages her to keep trying but says that his ability to invest may be coming to an end. Her sister encourages her to take a trip where hopefully she can rediscover the passion she needs to create a menu that will wow.
This sends Danielle to Italy where she takes in the sights, sounds and food of the culture. There she also meets the son, Giancarlo Donati (Michele Rosiello), of a café owner who shows her Italy. Turns out Giancarlo is missing an important ingredient in his life.

‘TWO SCOOPS OF ITALY’: HUNTER KING FINDS INSPIRATION AGAIN THROUGH ITALY. #HunterKing stars in Hallmark's 2024 Italian romance. #Hallmarkies #Hallmark Share on XThe story is the same. The feeling is the same. Yet, like anything, if you like sweet romance, this is cute. Two Scoops of Italy is a film you’ll want to add to your watchlist if you like simple romance.
The film is a sweet journey through Italy set to slower charm. It’s something that movies love to portray places like Italy as being. Food plays an important role as does the idea of slowing down and taking time to enjoy things which does include food. Also, silly fact, this is the second film in as many days I’ve seen that portrays homemade gelato, which has to be delicious, right?
Full of colors and experience and joy, Two Scoops of Italy is like its campaign peers; there’s sweetness, and it also gives us the chance to meet a new leading man, too.
