Fairytale is the life Dianne Parker (Kimberley Williams) finds her life falling into. Her whirlwind love story begins when she meets the brother of her friend David (Campbell Scott). TV FILM REVIEW | ‘JUNEBUG’ IS CUTE SUMMERTIME ROMANCE ABOUT IMAGINATION
‘FOLLOW THE STARS HOME’: TENDER AND TOUCHING DRAMA OF LOVE AND MOTHERHOOD. Review of the 2001 #KimberleyWilliams drama with Campbell Scott and #AlexaVega. #Hallmark #Romance Share on XFeaturing an all-star cast and a touching story, Follow the Stars Home is really a brilliant gem. It’s got so many poignant and warm themes. From love and motherhood to life, it’s beautiful. Inspired by a novel, the film is one I’ve also seen more times than just its initial debut and in the many years since I saw it, I forgot how good the script and film is.
It’s lovely to see Kimberley Williams in something outside of her breakout role which is Father of the Bride, and her role here impresses. Alexa Vega also proves she’s always been a memorable leading lady. The dudes are also good too and the scenes between Dianne and her mom are heartwarming. Wrapped up in a word, this is a really good production.
Wrapping so much emotion into one film is something this one does well. It lingers with its viewer in the best kind of way. There’s tears and laughter, but best of all, there’s joy by the time the film ends.

Content: there are some thematic and “tense” moments in this TVPG film. Someone threatens a child and hits a woman (we only hear and see the aftermath of this). One character is an alcoholic. Someone throws a dog into the water and a kid follows the pet. There is abandonment and someone refuses to acknowledge their child. There is discussion about ending a pregnancy.
