‘AUTUMN AT APPLE HILL’ IS ONE COZY SEASONAL ROMANCE
With the ideal autumn-esque title, one that even paints a picture, Autumn at Apple Hill is a film all about keeping the past the same and realizing the present also isn’t bad.
Autumn at Apple Hill (2024) TV Film Review
Her fond childhood memories keep Elise (Erin Cahill) fighting to ensure the inn her grandparent’s bought and successfully ran alive. What she cannot do is bring in guests, which means she doesn’t have the profit margin or funds to get a loan. She doesn’t let anything deter her though, and she sets out to find the profits she needs.
Luke (Wes Brown) soon walks into the inn where he books a stay when his mother kicks him bans him from their company temporarily because he needs a vacation. He takes this time to visit his best friend’s who run a small tavern and is a business Luke helped open. Luckily for Elise, Luke has a head for business and despite this detour, they discover maybe he can help.
TV FILM REVIEW | ‘HOLIDAY CRASHERS’ HAS FUN AND LOOKS FABULOUS WHILE DOING IT!
‘AUTUMN AT APPLE HILL’ IS ONE COZY SEASONAL ROMANCE. Review of the Autumn romance from #Hallmark. #ErinCahill #WesBrown Share on XLike nearly anything from any of the campaigns that air on the network, Autumn at Apple Hill will give you cozy views, hometown pride and romance, too. This is another script that’s all about holding onto the (emotional) past which isn’t something I relate to right now (this idea of keeping everything the same and the past alive is something I’ve never related to), so I think that trend often frustrates me or maybe it’s just that I see it so much in the field of TV films so it’s that which annoys. Whatever the case, that is a prime plot point.
Erin Cahill and Wes Brown have been in many titles prior to this, including autumn titles like Love Fall and Order (Cahill) and Under the Autumn Moon (Brown). Both also feature in Christmas movies as well, and seem to be favorites as a result.
While really sweet, Autumn at Apple Hill will have to concede to a title like Haunted Wedding as the favorite (of the ones I saw) title from the Fall Harvest block of programs.
