JUST GO WITH IT BOOK REVIEW
REVIEW: This book hasn’t been on my shelf for that long, but reading it makes me happy to have “checked off” another that likely would sit and gather dust. Just Go with It is the first book in a series by an author I hadn’t read before. The book was introduced to me through some kind of blog book list, and the cute cover design drew me in. Then the trope did the rest.
LIST | ‘VERONICA MARS’ AND THE TEN REASONS WHY STILL LOVE THE CULT CLASSIC
While cute and an easy read, I didn’t love the book. It has likable characters, and I actually find Weston to be one of the good guys whereas the stereotype kind of wants him to be otherwise. But regardless of petty issues or minor things, Just Go with It is fun. There’s a best friend bond which serves as a kind of side plot to the main romance that is cemented by some challenges for the heroine.
There’s a lot tropes kind of fighting for attention in this, but it IS easy reading (which I always mean as a complement). This is a modern romance that you can enjoy if you want something entertaining or a quick kind of weekend read.

Content: there is some innuendo and suggestive remarks about sex. Thoughts of someone being physically attractive crops up, but none of it is graphic. A couple has sex but the majority of the foreplay and actual sex is “off page” in the commonly described “closed door” scenario.
