ORANGE BOOK PUMPKIN COVERS IN TIME FOR ALL HALLOWS EVE
It’s almost All Hallows Eve, and while usually we put together a list of spooky-ish book cover art or novels that seem spooky, this year, we’re going with orange colors or us the color prominently so aka orange book “pumpkins.” I’m not sure if I have orange book covers, but we’ll see how many we find. Let’s begin our journey.
LIST | THE MAGICAL MOVIES AND TV TO WATCH DURING SPOOKY SEASON
From contemporary to historical and other fun genres, let’s see what we discover.
ORANGE BOOK COVER DESIGNS
TWISTED INNOCENCE, TERRI BLACKSTOCK
I read this novel a while ago, the third in the Moonlighter’s series and enjoyed it. Goodreads
VICIOUS CYCLE, TERRI BLACKSTOCK
I’ve read a few books by Terri through the years, but never read this one. I know have it in my donation pile. Goodreads
THE ELITE, KIERA CASS
Perfectly orange, this one is an idea fit for this week’s color scheme. Goodreads
ORANGE BOOK PUMPKIN COVERS IN TIME FOR ALL HALLOWS EVE. How many of these have you read? #AllHallowsEve #Halloween #TopTen #BookList #TopTenTuesday Share on XHAPPINESS FOR BEGINNERS, KATHERINE CENTER
Really enjoyed this novel, the first I read by Katherine in 2023. Goodreads
AUTUMN’S SHADOW, LYN COTE
Read this title years ago and still have this original cover, which has since been republished with something new. It’s a suspense mystery story that was good. Goodreads
WHEN THE SMOKE CLEARS, LYNETTE EASON
Suspense drives this story about a firefighter which is why the orange colors are ideal. Goodreads
NOW THAT I’VE FOUND YOU, KRISTINA FOREST
This one did sound really cute and fun back when I bought it, but I haven’t read it. Goodreads
SNITCH, RENE GUTTERIDGE
This follows a task force trying to stop a string of auto theft’s. Goodreads
BY ANY OTHER NAME, LAUREN KATE
This is a contemporary novel about an editor and working with her dream author. Goodreads
WHEN DIMPLE MET RISHI, SANDHYA MENON
Never read this one, so I recently decided to put it in our donate and/or sell box. Goodreads
RELUCTANT RUNAWAY, JILL ELIZABETH NELSON
This one isn’t really orange, but the title text is in the color and the black and great coloring is another ideal fit for the theme and time of year. Plus as I remember, this book is lots of fun. Goodreads
LIKE NEVER BEFORE, MELISSA TAGG
A super cute rom-com, this one is about a speech writer and a newspaper editor. Goodreads
AMANDA, DEBRA WHITE SMITH
This is a modern retelling of Emma and one I did read a long time ago. I cannot remember the particulars, but I did purchase the new cover art so I’ll have to read it again. Goodreads
SEAN DONOVAN, LORI WICK
Another historical novel I read years ago. It’s about a family, and this one, about Sean (obviously), follows him being sentenced to death for robbery. But a sassy woman finds she has need of a blacksmith and by marrying him, she’s always to wipe his slate clean. Also, yes, this cover is showing up red online, but in person, my copy is way more orange shaded. Goodreads

Linking up with That Artsy Reader Girl October 29: Halloween Freebie
You certainly found some cool-looking book covers in orange. I need to check my read book pile to see if I read many orange covered books. I don’t think so.
Happy Halloween! My TTT Halloween Freebie
I didn’t think I’d find these many! But I’m glad I did. ;)
This is a great collection of orange covers! This week, I went with purple covers, a color typically associated with Halloween. It’s one I haven’t done yet.

That’s another fab color! I may have enjoyed finding those more since I probably like purpose better than orange. ;)
I don’t think I’ve read any of these books before, but I love the way you incorporated color into this prompt. I’ll look into these books later, I see The Selection talked about a lot (or it was) but I’ve never read it.
If you’d like to visit, here’s my TTT: https://thebooklorefairy.blogspot.com/2024/10/top-ten-tuesday-november-tbr.html
I know many have issues with The Selection books, but they were some of my favorite “guilty pleasure” reads. So easy to read an entertaining. I still have some to read, including “The One,” which is the final book in the original trilogy. Hope you enjoy if you read any. :)
What a great approach…orange covers! I really like the cover of THE ELITE and BY ANY OTHER NAME sounds like it would be an enjoyable read.
I like The Elite, too, Carla! So perfect and pretty. :) And I think By Any Other Name sounds like fun, so hoping it is. :)
I love all of your pumpkin orange covers!
Thanks! Me too. :)
I love orange covers on books. They’re so eye-catching!
They are indeed! :)
Orange is not a color that is represented all that often! Nice list.
It doesn’t feel like it, no! But I was also surprised to find more than I realized! :)
I can see two on my shelves from where I am sitting, so I could probably come up with a decent list myself ;)
I looked at my “older” shelf too which is where I found some of the titles, and I even left off one or two because I’d already gone over ten. They’ll find another list to feature on I’m sure! :)
Nice list! You found some great looking covers. I’m always drawn in by a pretty dress on a cover! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
Same! I know it was a whole trend for a while and I think that’s kind of gone away. But I still have some with the pretty dress on my shelf, and The Elite is one. :)
Orange is my favourite colour so I love this topic for the Halloween freebie! I have not read any of them but Amanda sounds intriguing!
I do enjoy a fun Jane Austen re-telling! I read it years ago but since I cannot remember details, a reread is likely needed. :)
I have not read any Austen retellings yet mostly because I have not all read all her books yet but Emma is one I adored!
I should read some of hers (I think Sense and Sensibility is the one I read and I made it partway through Northanger Abbey) because I adore the movies/TV shows. And I’ve enjoyed some of the retellings too. Emma is one I hope to love because the story (from film) is a favorite of mine!
That makes sense :)! I hope you like any Emma retellings I hope you enjoy them!
Who knew there were so many orange covers out there? Great list!
Happy TTT!

Right?? I was sure I’d struggle. Glad I didn’t because I was looking for a simple topic. ;)
Fun topic choice! I decided to share books on my fall TBR, since I missed sharing it earlier. 😊

That’s always a fun list to make! I rarely actually read all of the books on my seasonal TBRs, but I still enjoy the making of them. :)
I love your twist on this week’s freebie, and I think I might just have to use ‘book pumpkins’ as often as I can. The only one from this list that I’ve read is The Elite, and the cover of all of those books are so beautiful!
Aren’t they!? I love a pretty book cover so I confess those topics or lists seem “easy.” We do love a pretty book pumpkin! ;)
like never before looks cute for autumn.
What beautiful books in orange, it’s a color very warm and cozy
Like Never Before is really cute! Such a fun read. :)
We need more orange covers. I hardly ever seen people fawn over them. Love the cover for When Dimple Met Rishi. There is so much joy radiating from it.
I agree, Alicia! There is such a joyful “look” to When Dimple Met Rishi and I’m here for it. :)
Your list is great! Such pretty covers. Some of these books look like books I have got to read. I love that you have a Lori Wick novel on your list. Her books were some of my favorite when I was a teen.
Same here, Nicole. While I did read Janette Oke books, I consider Lori’s my first “adult” reads. :)
