THE TRADITIONAL WINTER 2024 TBR TITLES I WISH I’D READ

Back with another seasonal TBR list. This time it’s our Winter 2024 TBR titles that we wish we’d read. Chances are we won’t because we’re bad at reading these days (reading comes and goes) and even when we do read, we rarely keep to a TBR stack. Still, the same rules apply we enjoy creating TBR lists!

THE TRADITIONAL WINTER 2024 TBR TITLES I WISH I’D READ. A #TopTen book list of titles I should read this winter! #WinterTBR #TBRBooks #BookList Share on X

Hoping I can find some seasonally appropriate titles to put on our list and so I’m going to dig in and see what I find. The plan is, as in recent years, to share mostly titles I already have on my shelf versus upcoming releases.

WINTER 2024 TBR list

THE LADIES REWRITE the RULES, SUZANNE ALLAIN

I’m 90% sure I started this one and didn’t finish it. Still I should. It was fun as I remember. Goodreads

SUMMERLIN GROVES, ELIZABETH CAMDEN

I’ve read quite a few of Elizabeth’s historical novels, so reading this, her first contemporary is high on my must list. Goodreads

THE MOST WONDERFUL CRIME of the YEAR, ALLY CARTER

This one looks cute, and I’m sure it is! Adding Christmas titles to a Winter TBR is unwise (for me) because I don’t want to read Christmas stories much past Christmas, but still, maybe I’ll sneak one or two in. Goodreads

IS SHE REALLY GOING OUT WITH HIM?, SOPHIE COUSENS

I’ve been hearing good things about Sophie’s books on Instagram so I bought this one (and maybe own another by her?) recently. Have you read her books? Goodreads

BEST SERVED HOT, AMANDA ELLIOT

Telling the story of two rival food critics… this one just seems as if it’d be fun! Goodreads

A LADY’S GUIDE TO SCANDAL, SOPHIE IRWIN

I’m not sure if I have this one yet or not, but I read book one, so I guess reading book two is a logical thing to do! First I have to look into if I bought a copy yet or not. Goodreads

FIRST LOVE, SECOND DRAFT, BECCA KINZER (April)

The publisher kindly sent me this novel and I’m excited to read it. Plus, Becca’s books have been ones I wanted to read for a long time now (I bought her book Dear Henry, Love Edith eons ago) so hopefully this finally urges me to read something by her! Goodreads

THE RIVAL, EMMA LORD (January 24

I buy most of the new novels Emma releases despite only reading one by her (Tweet Cute). I think it’s mostly because they look so cute! Goodreads

THE MISTLETOE BLUFF, EMILY SCHNEIDER

Pretty sure I’ve had this one on another list (or two) and it looks like a fun read. Plus who doesn’t love that title? Goodreads

BETTER than REVENGE, KASIE WEST

I totally forgot that Kasie West has a new book (in a couple weeks!). Needless to say, we all know this makes me excited. Hoping the book is another sweet read, although I swear on one of Kasie’s social media pages I saw that she was going to be writing adult fiction… Goodreads

Ok over to you! Which of these would you read? Which ones are on your TBR lists? What titles are you excited about? Comment everything down in the comment section.

Thank you for visiting; please return again soon

  1. You have some really cute books on your list! I, personally, cannot wait to read Kinzer’s next book
I loved her first two. I hope you can get to some of these, and I hope you love them when you do!

    1. That’s the only one I’ve read by Emma, too, Leslie! Hopefully I remedy this soon because Tweet Cute was fun. :) Plus her books just always look ridiculously fun.

    1. I’m so glad you enjoyed Amanda’s book, Leah! I haven’t read anything of hers yet, but they seem fun. Sophie’s books are talked about on Instagram here and there, so that’s what makes me most curious. Hope they’re all good reads. :)

  2. I absolutely under reading coming and going. That’s why I’m starting to do more than just book talk on my blog.

I have seen a lot of talk about these books on IG. They are all books I might eventually read but I just don’t want to make the commitment to pick them up.

    1. Having the feeling of not wanting to “commit” to some books is one I know well, Carla. Sometimes I feel like that’s a kind of bookish sign that they might not be a read we’d best enjoy. :)
