Love on the Right Course (2024) TV Film Review
Talented and being part of the gold scene for fourteen years, Whitney Jones-Béla (Ashley Newbrough) has been missing her effortless ease in the game. This is since she lost her mother two years ago. After barely qualifying for the European Open, Whitney decides to take the short time between tournaments to return to Budapest where her father (Roy McCrerey) runs a pro golf club. Once there, she learns that her dad has taken a step back.
Running the day to day is a golf pro named Daniel (Marcus Rosner). This leads Whitney to learn that her dad has plans for change, which means she needs to figure out what her future looks like.

⛳‘LOVE ON THE RIGHT COURSE’: A COLORFUL SPORTS ROMANCE. See #AshleyNewbrough in #Hallmark romance. #MarcusRosner Share on XSports aren’t a trope I see often in Hallmark films. It crops up here and there, but it’s not used in the same way as small-town romances or reunion love stories are. With the familiar faces of Ashley Newbrough and Marcus Rosner, this one will appeal to many viewers. Whether you are a casual golfer or have some enviable skill in the game, Love on the Right Course is certainly a fun little movie.

The setting makes it even more unique, too. The movie has good color (that umbrella framing scene though; so pretty) and while bittersweet in places, is also a genuinely cheerful movie about finding that thing you love. It’s this that is the overarching theme in the film. The film will delight you if you like anyone in the cast or just movies that travel to places that aren’t the usual big U.S. cities.
It may not be a brand-new title from Hallmark, but Love on the Right Course is still worth seeing and enjoying.

Content: nothing to note. This is all a very TV-G “old school” kind of Hallmark.
