‘THE STARS BETWEEN US’ WRITES A ROMANCE IN THE STARS
A romance with a celestial theme, The Stars Between Us looks to the stars for its guidance and puts a Hallmark TV star in the lead and plays with the idea of fate.
The Stars Between Us (2026) TV Film Review
The total eclipse event is one that applied physics student Malcolm (Matt Long) is more than a little excited about. While at the viewing, complete with a fancy telescope, Malcolm meets Kim (Sarah Drew). A woman who enjoys astronomy more as hobby than anything, she finds Malcom’s curiosity and excitement about this subject infectious. But they part after this connection.
Seven years later and a second eclipse is about to happen again, an event that may have some unique surprises in store for everyone in its orbit.
TV FILM REVIEW | ‘BECAUSE OF CUPID’: THE IDEAL ROMCOM FOR LOVE HOLIDAY
‘THE STARS BETWEEN US’ WRITES A ROMANCE IN THE STARS. Review of the 2026 #SarahDrew romance #TheStarsBetweenUs. #Romance #Movies #Loveuary Share on XBringing back Sarah Drew for one of their weekly movie leads is fun considering her fan favorite show Mistletoe Murders just wrapped its second season this past December. (And the show was just renewed for season three, set to return this fall.) Drew again has a great character in this film and is a role we easily root on and want only the best for. Though he hasn’t been in one for a while, Matt has starred as leading man in a Hallmark flick, and I have to say, I think he’s a good lead.

What I think sets this movie apart, whether good or bad will be subjective, is that the film doesn’t really have the leads together on screen all the much. The film instead shows new connections forming and the result of what comes out of that. Also resulting from this is more the ideal of what could be rather than is. What I have noticed about this Loveuary lineup is all of the movies, so far, have used fate and other worldly ideas to bring two people together. It’s a nice theme that works for this lineup.
If you enjoy Hallmark, don’t miss The Stars Between Us. It’s another starry story that has a nice pace and good acting, and while I usually want more face to face, I respect this one for its unique and different voice.

Sounds cute. But not a big Hallmark movie person.
It was cute; a bit different than normal but still very much a cute Hallmark movie at heart. :)
