‘HEARTS AROUND THE TABLE: KIKI’S FOURTH INGREDIENT’ IS CLOSING CHAPTER OF ONE REALLY FUN STORY
The fourth and, sadly, final film in the connective family movies, Kiki’s Fourth Ingredient promotes more of what its predecessors do; messages of family.
Hearts Around the Table: Kiki’s Fourth Ingredient (2025) TV Film Review
Catering a wedding is a big job for Kiki (Kathryn Davis). She’s trying to build up her business and make it successful, but when the catering is for the wedding of her beloved sister Jenna (Ashley Newborough), well, that makes all the hard work worth the challenges. Including things going array four days before the wedding. Still, she knows she needs help and so, she finds this in Clay (Torrance Coombs).
A fellow foodie, Clay also happens to be best man in the wedding and a restaurant owner. Together they concoct an ideal menu, alongside discovering a friendship neither expects.
FILM REVIEW | ‘HEARTS AROUND THE TABLE: JOSH’S THIRD SERVING’ IS MORE CHARM FOR THE THIRD TIME
‘HEARTS AROUND THE TABLE: KIKI’S FOURTH INGREDIENT.’ Review of the charming #Hallmark film. #KikisFourthIngredient #HeartsAroundtheTable Share on X
The final film in the quartet Hallmark debuted back in March, Kiki’s Fourth Ingredient is, like its “sister” titles, a cute and fun movie. Her story has the greater addition of food and creating some delicious recipes. The one big “bugaboo” I have in this group of films is the whole “I love you” declarations. This is one thing the movies share in common. I found it reasonable in Jenna’s First Love (after all it’s a reunion); totally unbelievable in Shari’s Second Act (they have this whole conversation about going slow and then I love you?); and I delt with it in Josh’s Third Serving. This kind of thing just does not fit in films that span a week or even two.
The cast is good though and I like that these films do allow us to catch up with everyone we love from this ‘heart’ family. I’ve liked all that I saw Kathryn in, so seeing her take lead in something else, well, it’s fun. Sweet and nostalgic, fun and silly, Kiki’s Fourth Ingredient is another winning addition to Hallmark’s line up of titles.
