This is where we start off this roundup with one of the news making headlines this past week being a Hallmark story! Peacock and Hallmark are ending their partnership (from 2022). Beginning May 1, the streaming platform will not have Hallmark content anymore, including their popular shows and the live feed. You can snag it for $7.99/month or check Hallmark’s socials for a possible discount offer.

Now on the brink of adulthood, Belly finds herself at a crossroads and must decide which brother has her heart. Summer will never be the same.” The show, The Summer I Turned Pretty, will debut its final season on July 16th.

In other Netflix news, the streamer will adapt a limited series of Edith Wharton’s The Age of Innocence. Based on the novel of the same name, it’s also a Pulitzer Prize-winning novel that takes place in New York during the 19th century. This is coming from Showrunner/Writer/Executive Producer Emma Frost. The last time a significant adaptation of The Age of Innocence was made is the 1993 feature with Winona Ryder, Daniel Day-Lewis, and Michelle Pfeiffer. Fun fact, Wharton is also author of The Buccaneers which Apple TV+ is adapting and will drop a second season for this summer.
