This show follows the Maddow family, and the deeply emotional legend left behind by Christian Maddox, a man who has been missing for over ten years. His former girlfriend and two children return to the town stirring up the whispers of his legend again. His brother still lives in the town and welcomes the niece and nephew he love. In their mother’s hometown, the kids make new friends and discover there are lots of secrets surrounding their dad.
Many of these films are in the professional world of racing or NASCAR, but still, it’s about racing, so we’re going with it. Let’s discover how many movies we can find that fit this same mold.
IF YOU LIKE MOTORHEADS, watch these
BABY DRIVER
This one follows a brilliant kid who kind of “falls” into being a getaway driver for a controlling man and his gang. The film goes through the why he is a part of this gang, and meeting a girl who inspires him to want something different. Ansel Elgort leads the impressive cast.
R is the rating of this film. This is for profanity (the f-word) and some pretty graphic violence, too.

This is one of those “direct” to DVD type titles about racers who work together in a race against a champion and the quest the race becomes in trying to make it to the finish line.

This franchise has, what, ten or so films in it? It’s all about street racing and yes, there are elements of undercover work, too. It’s perhaps the most ‘if you like Motorheads, watch these’ appropriate titles from this list. Plus, the series does have a huge influence on believing that family is important. Vin Diesel has been a mainstay star through well over half the titles and prior to his sad death, Paul Walker was also lead. Through the years stars like Dwayne Johnson, Charlize Theron and Tyrese Gibson have also starred.

This is a flick I’m 99.9% sure I saw years ago. It’s another, like so many of these, lower budget kind of direct to DVD type film with Scott Eastwood about car thieves who take a trip to France only to end up in the world of a crime boss. Ana de Armas also appears.
