PRIME VIDEO news
Arriving this summer is The Terminal List spinoff which is aptly titled The Terminal List: Dark Wolf. According to its press release, the Prime Video show will drop its first three episodes on August 27 and then will wrap with weekly episodes on September 24 for its final episode. The show is co-created by Jack Carr, the best-selling author of The Terminal List. This spin off will follow the origin story of Ben Edwards, which Taylor Kitsch plays and will also bring back Chris Pratt (from The Terminal List) as James Reece. According to the presser, this will follow Kitsch as he becomes part of the “Navy SEALs to the clandestine side of CIA Special Operations. The series is an espionage thriller that explores the darker side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it.” The show is EP’d by Kitsch and Pratt along with Amazon MGM Studios.

OTHER things
If you’re a fan of Taylor Swift, she made an announcement on her website that she now owns all of her music, which includes art and music videos. So everything that has Swift’s name from albums to the lyrics and videos are now, as I understand it, hers. This comes after the long “fight” she’s had with her former record label and Scooter Braun to purchase back her masters. It’s been a whole thing. Likely there are recaps on the Internet that we’ll not rehash. In the present and in her letter, she says she was able to buy her music thanks to the dedication of fans and her Eras tour. She also says, in a letter on her website, that she may or may not re-release her final two albums (the last two she didn’t own) which was Reputation and her debut album. In that same missive, she says that Reputation isn’t even fully re-recorded because that was just a specific time for her and she didn’t really want to dig back into it because it couldn’t be improved. What are your thoughts on this big Taylor Swift universe news.
According to an exclusive article, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Rachael Leigh Cook will be reuniting (crazy, right??) after their 90s rom-com She’s All That. This project is described as a seasonal rom-com and is being produced by Fox Studios Entertainment. There is no word, as of yet, about release dates or where the film may debut or stream. Likely 2026 is when it will premiere.
Coming this summer is the adaptation of what looks to be a fun mystery. We of course are referring to the first look trailer at Netflix’s upcoming cozy mystery The Thursday Murder Club. It will debut August 28th and be exclusively released on Netflix.
