ONE of a KIND LOVE – AUGUST 9
This one is a fun debut (again, for this network, since this film can be found elsewhere) because it has Jocelyn Hudon and Jake Manley! The pair are a real-life couple so seeing them in a cute rom-com is fun.
Story: Kyra’s dreams of being a jeweler have been put on the backburner, as her demanding job at the Sawyer Country Club is her priority. When a vacant shop becomes available in town, Kyra sees an opportunity to put a plan into action, until she learns that there’s another renter interested in the space. Enter Aiden Sawyer, prodigal son, big-city business magnate and Kyra’s childhood nemesis, returning home to the country club his parents own. – Great American Family
A THREAD to YOUR HEART – AUGUST 19
This title was also known as A Yarn Love and will feature Anna Hutchison in the lead. If you know the name, it’s because it’s a familiar genre to Hutchison; and then also, she did appear in Spartacus.
Story: The owner of a quaint New Zealand yarn shop, Sophie Dale, gets her world flipped upside down after learning her top supplier of yarn, King Farms, is stopping production. Much to her surprise, the charming yet stuck-in-his-ways Samuel King has traveled all the way from New York to audit the business model of the farm. – Great American Family
AS GOUDA as it GETS – AUGUST 23
Story: Brie Belanger is the maître fromager and owner of Brie’s Cheese, a cute artisan cheese shop located in picturesque Vermont. Looking to boost her business presence and sales, the town’s annual Cheese Festival arrives just in time with a $50,000 first-place prize. Up against her biggest competitor, Brie’s vintage smoked gouda is considered a frontrunner – so much so that Jacob Wolfe, a former chef and influential cheese blogger, approaches about profiling her delectable creation, leading their friendship to take a turn for romance. – Great American Family

CROSSROAD SPRINGS, tv show – AUGUST 30
This should be a six episode series (working off the assumption of their prior shows) that will debut in August. The cast has familiar network faces and includes Brittany Underwood, Jesse Hutch, Erin Agostino and Jonathan Stoddard. Also listed as part of the cast is Shaun Johnston from the Canadian drama Heartland.
The show is a drama about siblings returning home to help their father and aunt during financial challenges. The setting will be the family Hamilton Ranch!
Story: “Crossroad Springs” follows the Hamilton family, adult siblings James (Stoddard) and Janet (Alatalo) […] who are eking out a living on Hamilton Ranch with financial hardships and staffing shortages. – Great American Family
