The first debut of the month also marks the first in Hallmark’s newest campaign block. The Way to You is also unusually sweet.

Starting one’s day in a brief subway blackout isn’t what anyone wants. But for a group of strangers, this is what they get. Before the blackout, Emma (Kim Matula) makes a connection with someone. They share conversation and it feels like this may be the first step to making better choices. Then the lights come on and they part.
Conrad (Aaron O’Connell) is also on this subway, and he shares something in common with Emma; he too met and loses track of someone. When these two meet, the discover they may still be able to help each other.

The story is more unique and reminds us of one of their most delightful 2025 Christmas titles We Met in December. Making this one stand out more is the less frequent Hallmark stars, something that forever endears a movie. This marks Kim’s first non-Christmas title and is the first feature for Aaron (here) in a while. They are good in their respective roles, and I love seeing them both return. The lack of a traditional meet-cute set up is also on the list of unique qualifiers.
Between the concept and the themes of soul or fated mates, The Way to You writes a good story. In other words, it begins the traditional Loveuary content off well, and if any indication, promises a delightful group of romances this month.
