KIM MATULA HALLMARK MOVIES AND WHERE TO WATCH THEM! @HallmarkChannel #Hallmark #Hallmarkies #KimMatula Share on XAccording to her biography, Matula began her work as an actress doing voice work before she went on to have a supporting role in a TV film called Queen Sized film that is from 2008. For six years, starting in 2010, she also appeared in many The Bold and the Beautiful episodes. Lots of guest star roles came up until her debut on Hallmark in 2022.
Let’s meet the roles we have seen Matula in!
KIM MATULA HALLMARK MOVIE ROLES plus more!
GHOSTS of CHRISTMAS PAST, 2022
Despite not being a fan of the ghost trope and feeling as though it’s been played out too much, likely because of the popularity of A Christmas Carol, I did mostly enjoy this one. Actually, I’m not sure if I ever finished watching this one, but what I saw was good. It was also memorable because it not only was the debut of Kim Matula on the network, but it also brings in a new leading man in Ian Harding!
Synopsis: Katherine is a Ghost of Christmas Present and she must help one soul, Peter, rediscover his Christmas spirit. But this year has something unusual in store. – Hallmark+
CHECKIN’ it TWICE, 2023
Next to popular leading man Kevin McGarry, Matula plays a sassy real estate agent who ends up having a friendship with a traveling hockey player who plays for her hometown team. The movie, as a remember, was one that happily surprised me in 2023, largely because I do think Kim Matula is a solid addition to leading ladies on this network.

Synopsis: A journeyman hockey player falls for a real estate agent in a career crisis when he’s traded to her hometown and moves into the cottage in her hockey loving family’s backyard. – Hallmark+
THE FINNISH LINE, 2024
Despite challenges, Matula plays a woman who competes in an intense winter race and is paired with a new dog during the competition. It’s also one of those stories that happily surprised me.

Synopsis: Anya, inspired by her father’s legacy, competes in Finland’s Joulurauha race. Partnered with a new dog, she faces challenges, her father’s rival, and her own anxieties. – Hallmark+
THE WAY to YOU, 2026
Premiering today, The Way to You looks and seems so very charming! I love the concept of two strangers trying to find their respective missed connections, and all around, the movie just looks like it would be a delight. I also have an inkling that I’m going to love Aaron O’Connell and Kim in their respective roles.

Synopsis: New Yorkers Emma and Conrad agree to help each other find their missed connections after a subway blackout. Their search might lead to love, but not where either of them expects to find it. – Hallmark Press

PINK (SERIES), 2007
This is one I haven’t heard of, but it sounds, well… interesting(?). It’s about a woman who is an assassin and at this point in her career, she wants “to walk away from The Life she was born and bred into.” Kim plays the “college” aged heroine in, presumably, flashbacks.

Matula also appeared in guest appearance roles in How I Met Your Mother (2009); Rosewood (2017); 9-1-1: Lone Star and Leverage: Redemption (2021); The Resident (2022); True Lies (2023); and NCIS (2024). In 2010, she also starred in Exposed, a show described as a “Warner Bros. Web Original” and from the makers of Pink. I don’t know if the show never released or its just not available, but I didn’t see any other ready information about this one. In that same year (2010), she additionally has a credit for Spilt Milk.
