‘THE MARLOW MURDER CLUB,’ SERIES THREE: SLEUTHING BEST FRIENDS SOLVE NEW CASES!
Back for more crime solving and some laughs is series three of The Marlow Murder Club where we get to hang with a group of ladies we always love.
The Marlow Murder Club, Series Three (2026) PBS TV Show Review
The curious and complimentary minds of Judith Potts (Samantha Bond), Suzie Harris (Jo Martin) and Becks Starling (Cara Horgan) have fully integrated into consulting detective work with DI Tanika Malik (Natalie Dew). The three women all have different skills and minds they bring to the table, but along with DI Malik, they work well together and puzzle through some cases that leave everyone curious. However, they are about to encounter their most high-profile yet!
The mayor dies quite suddenly (and right in the middle of a meeting!) which forces the trio to question and investigate everyone at the meeting, some of whom are less than happy to be a suspect.
‘THE MARLOW MURDER CLUB,’ SERIES THREE: SLEUTHING BEST FRIENDS SOLVE NEW CASES! Share on XAnytime we hang out with these women, I am reminded how fabulously fun they are, but also that it’s entertaining to watch how they solve cases and see the investigation cues they use. The show is very on brand for PBS and is definitely something we recognize as part of the Masterpiece Mystery! lineup, but is also oddly different, too. I cannot put my finger on what, but I think part of the difference is these actors truly play these characters as amateurs. They have the brains, but they sometimes fail at stealth which we can all relate to.
TV SERIES REVIEW | ‘GRANTCHESTER,’ SERIES 11: SEE HOW IT ENDS FOR BELOVED CHARACTERS

Aside from the brilliantly good returning cast, guest cast this time also includes Cherie Lunghi, Adrian Lukis and Jason Merrells. This season is comprised of three mysteries, each told as a two-parter which makes for six episodes total. I like this format rather than one single mystery over six episodes because I think it offers variety but still gives one mystery enough screentime to flesh itself out and tell a solid story.
PBS shows are also brilliant. Or those I watch are and series three of The Marlow Murder Club is no different. It’s still good and definitely a collection of episodes worth watching if you like the genre. It’s like a modern Miss Marple which makes these ladies the newest queens of mystery!
Watch The Marlow Murder Club series three on the weekly PBS broadcast starting with this September 6 premiere ( – October 11) or watch the show on PBS.org or the PBS app. You will also be able to stream The Marlow Murder on PBS Masterpiece with Prime Video; find series one – two now streaming.

Content: this one does deal in murder and death so there is lots of discussion about murder. We see bodies and scenes that show a murder or the body. One character likes to swim nude. There may be some innuendo. The show rates TV-14.
