‘THE WAY HOME’ HAS A WEDDING, ANSWERS and SECRETS, TOO! READ THE FINALE RECAP
Roller coaster emotion is the driving force for Hallmark’s fan favorite show The Way Home. From ups and downs within the Landry family to romantic entanglements (for all three Landy ladies), the show doesn’t shy away from, well, drama. The finale aired tonight, and as everyone has opinions, let’s jump into this The Way Home episode 10 recap.

The episode is a kind of pendulum of all that has come in the nine episodes (and really all of the episodes) of season three leading into this third season finale. The questions are still big even with some answered, like will there be a fourth season? Spoiler, there will be. The finale gracefully gives us some loveliness before that inevitable cliffhanger which proceeds cliffhangers from last week. Only first, we learn things.

In present the romantic developments (or are they?) give us two kisses that need resolution. For the kiss between Kat and Elliot (which involved Elliot time travelling to fight for Kat so kudos and well done to him), we assume this means they are back on. But are they? The pair spend insufficient time together but their romantic status is sort of cemented. She tells him she loves him and wants to try again. But that’s not all. Mutually they agree they’re messed up and she takes him for granted. Then something lovely happens. She tells him, it’s how he loves her, that’s the gift. They agree to love as they are… and that the day will come when he will propose. the way home episode 10 recap
Then there is Alice and Max aka a Goodwin – gasp! Based on things she learned, Alice believes that her future involves Max . She talks with Max, but is also feeling guilty about this pushing out Noah, the boyfriend who was so good to her. All they both confess is neither one hated the kiss!

Then we come to Del needing closure… which means she needs to see Colton. The three Landry women join hands and together they jump… but it’s only Alice who talks to Colton. In the year 2000 where Colton pieces everything together; all these people he’s met through the years – Kat and Alice – he knows who they are. Emotions high, the pair hug.
ADDITIONAL EPISODE HAPPENINGS and TAKEAWAYS
– The aforementioned loveliness happens when the love story of Colton and Del, as seen through the eyes of Kat and Del (who make it to the 70s!), marry and make vows in an intimate ceremony. the way home episode 10 recap
– Going off of last week’s episode, we learn that Jacob has possible changes, and of course this means Del brings in Sam to offer them legal advice. Were it not for Del arriving at the vineyard of their ancestorial enemy, the Goodwin’s, Jacob would have torched the place. What neither of them knew is there are newly installed cameras which means that a feud from centuries past is reignited by this single act.
– We also revisit the 1990s where young Kat enters the chat again. Alice and her teenage mom bond again. They talk about their future fortune. In this time we get the knowing that Colton is more aware of everything than anyone realizes.
But the real moment that drops jaws comes, as one might expect, in the final moments of this season three finale. Casey aka KC Goodwin comes back and shows Jacob (who leaves) a will that leaves Lingermore to the Landry’s, which is bombshell one.
