In this past year, I’ve become something of a strong appreciator (is this a word?) of small business. To clarify, it’s not that I didn’t appreciate them before, it’s just that I’ve come to appreciate them more. Some that I’ll share today I’ve already shared (a lot), and others I pulled out as “new” to share (including some that don’t qualify as “small business”). Either way, let’s meet this group of shop small business in today’s list.

Among these, some I’ve repeat ordered from. Others I PLAN to order from and haven’t (yet). As it is awfully close to Christmas and quite unlikely to matter that I’m posting this now (but hey, maybe you’ll see something for yourself and don’t care if it’s there right in time for the 25^th), I’m still going to try to have some fun. Let’s go!

SHOP SMALL BUSINESS 2021

1: CGSTICKERSCO

I’ve only ordered one thing from this shop, but it’s pretty! I snagged the Mr. Darcy and Lizzy sticker that depicts the scene from 2005’s version of Darcy and Lizzy meeting just as dawn breaks. It’s not only a stunning scene, but the sticker is a good quality too!

2: CONVICTION CO.

Already shared them a ton, and is definitely a business I’ve repeat ordered from. I love her store messaging (“giving you words to speak truth with conviction”) and her apparel sporting Bible verses and Biblical messaging is STRONG.

The customer service and ability to customize a message or wording is also SUPER easy!

NOTE: Conviction Co. closes TODAY (the 5th) for the rest of the year.

3: CREATE THE CUT

Back when I was designing a TON and not relying on general clip art, I used to buy so many watercolor or clip art sets. One of my favorite places used to be this, Create the Cut. They have a lot of floral designs which used to be my jam, so it was the perfect fit. I used to also shop with Essem Creatives and Twigs and Twine for the same type of products.

4: THE DANCING WICK

I used to order or purchase lots of candles back in the day, and one of the shops I’d buy from is The Dancing Wick. This reminds me, I should order from them again. I always have this urge to order candles in the winter to pick up the cozy, spicy scents that companies put out.

5: POPPY DOT CO.

Haven’t yet ordered for myself from this shop, but I did give away a gift card in a prior giveaway. The designs and colors look so fun. Now I just need to place a personal order.

She also has barrettes and digital prints, too!

6: SADDLE HILL STUDIOS

Back when I used to co-run an Etsy shop, I used to purchase almost all of my “card” packing products from this company. I would have them print my designs to “brand” them as well. They were so easy and prompt to work with that it made the entire process simple.

7: SWEET SEQUELS

Another shop I haven’t yet ordered from. This is my bad as Haleigh creates and designs some beautiful products! Primarily, I’d snag one of her books because, um, beautiful! I don’t even read classic literature, but come on, when they’re that pretty, you kind of need one, right?

I know I’m missing lots of shops I should mention, but there’s always next time, and no rule that says we can only talk about small business at the Christmas season. What about you!
