SEVEN NEW ROMANCE BOOKS THAT I’M REALLY CURIOUS ABOUT

by

Recently I’ve been doing some window shopping for some of the new romance book releases I’m curious about. I’ve found some I’m quite curious about, and as a result, I narrowed down the list a bit of those I did read about to only the ones I think I could and would actually read.

Among these are colorful stories that certainly look like a good time, and even a familiar author or two who I will forever and always read. Or at least history says I will. What I love most is the hope that authors are still writing solid romantic comedies even if the movies aren’t producing them, which is a depressing thought indeed. Let’s meet these upcoming romance novels I’m curious about, shall we?

SEVEN NEW ROMANCE BOOK RELEASES

1: BY ANY OTHER NAME, LAUREN KATE (OUT NOW!)
SEVEN NEW ROMANCE BOOK RELEASES COMING SOON!

I’ve not read a single book by Lauren Kate, who made a name for herself through YA novels, but this new adult (or adult?) novel does sound fun! I tried to be pretty thorough in trying to find out if it’d be a “me” read, and I think it has potential. The plot is about a romance editor who’s engaged and seemingly living the best life. 2: THE NO-SHOW, BETH O’LEARY (APRIL)

I’ve read NOTHING by Beth, so adding this one could be a bit of a “risk” far as my reading goes, but it sounds like so much fun following women who find the same guy stands them up! Goodreads

3: AS SEEN ON TV, MERIDITH SCHORR (JUNE)
SEVEN NEW ROMANCE BOOK RELEASES COMING SOON

This one I saw on a list by someone who’s blog I visited this last week. It sounds like a really fun read about a woman who wants to find love like in the movies. To do this she believes she must move out of the city to the small town, because after all, that’s what the movies have taught her. Goodreads

4: ACCOMPLISHED, AMANDA QUAIN (JULY)

This one I’m a bit iffy on because I cannot find a great deal of information about it – yet. But just the fact that it’s a kind of lose Pride & prejudice (YA) re-telling where Georgina is the heroine makes me curious! Goodreads

5: A SECRET PRINCESS, MARGARET STOHL & MELISSA DE LA CRUZ (JUNE)

OHMYGOSH! You guys, I am so excited about this one! You all know I loved Jo & Laurie, so reading another of their reimagined classics is a must for me. I’m a little surprised this one combines elements of A Little Princess and The Secret Garden, but I’m still here for it. Goodreads

6: TURN TO ME, BECKY WADE (MAY)

While I’m sure I’d be able to “rank” Becky’s novels from most favorite to favorite, I enjoy all of her books and always leave them with a smile. Her novel Stay With Me (book one in this series) was an unexpected delight, and so reading this third novel is a MUST for me. We’ll finally have the elusive friend of the group, Luke’s story and maybe even a treasure hunt! Goodreads

7: PLACES WE’VE BEEN, KASIE WEST (MAY)

Adding this one is a no-brainer. The plot follows two longtime friends whose families plan a joint road trip vacation. Only trouble is Skyler acts as though he wishes he were anywhere else which prompts Norah to feel confused and uncertain about their once close friendship. Sounds fun, and I’d say, something that turns into a friends-to-more type story. Goodreads

What about you; are any of these on your TBR list? Do any make you curious or take notice? Would you read any of these? Have you read any? Comment all the comments below! Let’s chat.

    1. I think I’ll read less and less YA too. I like the genre because they tend to be “simple” and cute (at least the contemporary romcoms are) which is my jam, but I’m sure I’ll go less with the genre too. Still, now and then I cannot rule them out. :)
