BOOK COVERS AND STORIES ABOUT FOOD
There are certain things I feel like fiction including books and film like, and one of these is food. More specifically, these are stories that somehow revolve around food. This week, while not totally what perhaps the topic requires, I’m sharing some book covers with food on them. Hopefully some that has a good story inside, too.

BOOK COVERS AND STORIES ABOUT FOOD. A list of book cover with food on them! #TTT #TopTen #TopTenTuesday #BookCovers #BookDesign Share on XThis list will feature some books I talk about a lot, but they also fit nicely into this topic, so why not take the chance to share them again, right? Plus, I’ve read the two series I’m thinking about so I know they’re solid reads.
BOOK COVERS WITH FOOD on THEM
SALT and SUGAR, REBECCA CARVALHO
This is a new discovery for me, but it sounds cute so I did put a copy in my cart. Whether that will be a win or mistake remains to be seen. Goodreads
MY FINE FELLOW, JANNIEKE COHEN
Only recently did I realize the details of this cover design are culinary related. From whisks to silverware, it’s cute. Plus, the plot features aspiring chefs so it’s a topical fit all the way around. Goodreads
PRIDE, PREJUDICE and OTHER FLAVORS, SONALI DEV
A retelling, as its title says, of Pride and Prejudice, this one features a hero who is an upcoming chef, and is also one I’ve had on my shelf for a long time. Goodreads
BEST SERVED HOT, AMANDA ELLIOT
This one follows rival restaurant critics, and though it doesn’t have high Goodreads ratings, it does sound fun and cute. Goodreads
LOVE FROM SCRATCH, KAITLYN HILL
How cute is this cover design? Goodreads
SATURDAY NIGHT SUPPER CLUB, CARLA LAUREANO
This has three books in a kind of connected series and all of them are lovely reads. Goodreads
TWO BLUE DOORS (SERIES), HILLARY MANTON LODGE
Another lovely series that does get bittersweet here and there, and still, I did enjoy the experience at the time. Goodreads
TACOS for TWO, BETSY ST. AMANT
Read this one a while back about a food truck owner who cannot cook and the chef who wants a different life, and it was cute. Goodreads
LOVE A LA MODE, STEPHANIE KATE STROHM
This one follows two teen American chefs who meet when they head to Paris to attend a prestigious school. Goodreads
HADLEY BECKETT’S NEXT DISH, BETHANY TURNER
Not a favorite, but I did read this one a long time ago. It has the cute whisk and foodie details on the cover design. Goodreads

Linking up with That Artsy Reader Girl September 3: Books Involving Food (That are Not Cookbooks) (Submitted by Cathy @ WhatCathyReadNext and Hopewell’s Public Library of Life)
Pride, Prejudice, and Other Flavors is on my list too. The food was my favorite part of the book.
Food in Books
I haven’t read it but I’m do enjoy reading about Austen retellings. Just have to read some of them now. :)
Salt and Sugar looks interesting.
Right? I think so too! :)
I have Salt & Sugar, Tacos for Two, and Saturday Night Supper Club all on my TBR. Fingers crossed, I can read them soon.

I hope you enjoy all three, Pam! I did LOVE ‘Saturday Night’ and “Tacos for Two” was really cute. :)
Tacos for Two sounds pretty good, I must check it out. Happy reading. My TTT https://readwithstefani.com/books-involving-food-that-are-not-cookbooks/
It sure has a cute cover and title! As I remember it was also a cute read, too. :)
I love the title, “Tacos for Two.” Great covers on these!
Right? It’s really cute isn’t it? :)
Tacos for Two sounds fun! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thanks!
It is fun… at least as best as I can remember. :)
I have read three of these…I only listed books on my list that I have not read, LOL. Not necessarily the best way, but it certainly keeps the TBR fresh, LOL! Have a great week!
MOST of my TTT lists feature books I haven’t read. At least when I make them. I just have too many unread books still on my shelf… and most of them are titles I do hope to still make time for. :)
Rissi, I understand completely! I keep *trying* to get my read books under 200 (don’t judge, LOL!), but then I win a book, or get one for review, etc…
I don’t even want to know how many are unread on my shelf! (Probably at least that many.) But a month or so ago I did do a HUGE unhaul (the books are in a box in my hallway!) so maybe now it’s not QUITE as bad, which would feel better. Now I just need to have a “no buying books” period again. ;)
Yeah, those “no buying” periods are when I typically find something I want, or a favorite author releases a new book, LOL!
Right? It’s a challenge sometimes! :)
Oooh, I haven’t read any of these but they look interesting, and some of those covers look so delicious!
I think some of the covers are fabulous, too! I love a good cover art and so that’s why I typically go an “easy” route and use cover design for most topics. ;)
Oooh! Great twist on this week’s topic!
All about featuring cover designs. :)
Salt & Sugar is cute, bonus points for the setting, love to see more stories set in another country in America that is not USA
I hadn’t heard of that one, but it does look fun and cute, so perhaps it’s fun! :)
Great list! I’ve had Salt and Sugar and Best Served Hot on my TBR for quite a while, and I find that when books about food are done well, I really enjoy them.
I hope we both enjoy them, Leah! I hadn’t seen Salt and Sugar before putting this together but it looks fun. :)
