My Life is Murder, Series Three (2022) Acorn TV Review
Still in her new place and settled into her new stomping grounds, Alexa Crowe (Lucy Lawless) is still back working. Detective Harry Henare (Rawiri Jobe) has another care for her to look over. This time it involves a dancer who’s body was found outside the home of a man who seemed to have some kind of obsession with her.
Joined by her associate and best friend (though trying to get Alexa to admit this is a challenge) is Madison (Ebony Vagulans). Even with her sidekick, Alexa has quite a case in front of her. Only this time she may need a dance partner which her local bakery owner Ruben (Joe Naufahu) may step into.

👮🏻♀️🚓💻'MY LIFE IS MURDER,’ SERIES THREE: LUCY LAWLESS AND CO. MAKE A RETURN💻🚓👮🏻♀️ #ACORNTV #LUCYLAWLESS #TVSHOW Share on XSeeing the return of favorite TV characters is one of my favorite things. However right now it’s a difficult thing to impress and for me to find. My Life is Murder is one of the rare group of TV characters (and shows to be honest) that don’t annoy me. I enjoy all of the characters and the fun personalities. my life is murder series three
This series is (so far) not different. I didn’t get the chance to watch the entire third series, but what I saw wins. Things start out different but the same. The setups are the same and the general case an episode is the same. What’s different is Alexa’s look. She steps out of the neutrals and goes all shades of brights. I’m kind of here for it and see that Madison’s style is rubbing off. In some ways it’s distracting just because that’s Madison’s look, but I love seeing Alexa in the bold brights that are very on trend now. Plus, the dance in the opening episode is fun and pretty.
Same story goes for the characters. I love Alexa and Madison is cute as always. Plus the guys are memorable and fun, and we meet a new character in episode three. All in all, early in the season, this is yet another winning set of episodes. The show has a great pace and is highlighted with fabulous characters who make the 40-some minutes pass without any kind of boredom.

Content: there is some innuendo here and there, but it’s never graphic. Murders are seen to some extent, but again it’s non graphic (in the first two episodes at least). The show is TV-14.
