We’re kicking off this day with another big movie anniversary. This time around, it’s a favorite for many of us. Officially celebrating its premiere on July 20 1998, on July 29th 1998, for those of us normal people, The Parent Trap dropped in theaters. From acclaimed director Nancy Meyers, and featuring the breakout role of Lindsay Lohan, the film is one probably many millennials feel nostalgic over. As a result, we’re remembering this one with this The Parent Trap 25 year movie quiz. Because it’s always fun, right?

The film, just in case you didn’t realize, is a remake of a 1960s Disney flick featuring Hayley Mills and Maureen O’Hara. The plot is much the same following twin girls who come to find out are actual twins who share parents. Nick lives in California running a vineyard while Elizabeth lives in London and is a successful careerwoman. The thing is, neither parent told the girl’s who their other parent was or that they are a twin! The girls meet at camp, and scheme (even against each other for a time!) to try and trick their parents, all in the hopes of getting to know the parent they’ve never met.
I cannot tell you how many times, through the years, I’ve seen this film. Likely because it’s one of the few on rotation movies my parents were okay with me watching. It’s been years now since I’ve seen it, but I think I’d 100% still enjoy the film. To celebrate, we’re jumping into our usual celebration mode with some quizzes… because they’re mostly fun, right?
