DEAR SANTA, HERE’S MY CHRISTMAS WISH LIST OF BOOKS!

It’s that time of year again, the time we get to feature the Dear Santa Christmas book wish list we have aka the books we’d perhaps like to find under our tree.

LIST | SOME OF THE BEST AND WACKIEST(!) UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATERS

DEAR SANTA, HERE’S MY CHRISTMAS WISH LIST OF BOOKS! A #TopTen #BookList of books I'm wishing for. #Reading #Reader #Read #Christmas Share on X

In more recent years I’ve found this list difficult to put together. Likely because I’ve learned more and more the types of books I best enjoy. At least I like to think this is true! Plus Santa already knows all the books we’d love so it’s kind of moot, right? Regardless, let’s dive right in and see what did make the list.

 CHRISTMAS BOOK WISH LIST

SUMMERLIN GROVES, ELIZABETH CAMDEN

I’ve read a few of Elizabeth’s historical novels, which I did enjoy, so reading this, her first contemporary is HIGH on my list of reader priorities! Have you read this one? Goodreads

JUST ACT NATURAL, GENNY CARRICK

Don’t know anything about this one, but I found it while trying to find Kindle books for our monthly content updates downloads. It sounds sweet. Goodreads

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING, DEBBIE JOHNSON

This may not really be a “me book” just because I’m not drawn to women’s fiction but the whimsy of the cover art interests me and I’ve seen a couple films with a heroine who likes stats and numbers that I did enjoy… so that combined makes me curious. Goodreads

NOVELS by MARTHA KEYES

I haven’t read anything by Martha (yet), but her books are always colorful and look fun. Just in case Santa doesn’t know (and we all know he does!), the ones I don’t own include:

PICKLEBALLERS, Ilana Long

This one came across my bookish radar somehow (though I cannot remember how), and given the obsession that pickleball has become, I added it to my wish list. It seems like it could be fun. Goodreads

THE RIVAL, EMMA LORD

I’ve only read one thing by Emma, but I mostly enjoyed it and so reading more by her is something I need to do. Goodreads

MERRY LITTLE MATCH, CELINE RACHELLE

A historical story penned by one-half of the Novelbound podcast team, this one seems like it’d be a cute read, and it looks really pretty too! Goodreads

THE SPY and I, TIANA SMITH

I found this on a random search or on one of those “recommended” rows, but whatever, the book does look fun! Goodreads

LOVE on DECK, KASEY STOCKTON

Another author I haven’t read anything by, but her books too always look fun. I own a couple so long as I’m asking Santa, I figure, why not also ask for another one or two by Kasey? Goodreads

What books made your wishlists this year? Do any of these look interesting? Would you read any? Are any on your TBR? Let’s chat!

Thank you for visiting; please return again soon.

  1. Great list! I haven’t heard of many of these but The Spy and I is one that briefly floated across my radar earlier in the year (if I remember correctly). All of these covers are stunning though and I hope you get treated to some if not all of these beauties this holiday. Merry Christmas (if you celebrate)!

    1. Thanks so much, Dini! I hope to enjoy some of these, too. And The Spy and I does look like a fun read. That title and cover is just so fun. :) Merry Christmas to you as well.

  2. Great list! I still need to read Summerlin Groves too. I love Elizabeth Camden’s historical novels, so I’m eager to check out her first contemporary. Merry Christmas! :)
