May is (almost) here and it ushers in the fullness of springtime (and unofficial start of summer), a day for mom and of course, the usual Saturday night Hallmark comedy movies. Since it’s so close to the new month’s arrival, we set this day aside to feature the Hallmark May 2025 schedule. From returning (fan favorite) stars to stylish hat finery, hopefully you’ll all find something to enjoy.

Still, I imagine the films will find people who want to rewatch or just enjoy them for the first time. Let’s meet them all!

HATS off to LOVE – MAY 3
The heroine, Stella, is a designer of fancy hats, and one of her clients is Rosalind, a wealthy socialite who’s son Stella meets while he trains a horse to race in the Louisville Derby. Ginna Claire Mason debuts in her first non-Christmas Hallmark flick in a film that seems seasonally quite appropriate.
THE MOTHERHOOD – MAY 5, reality tv
This is a reality show that doesn’t seem to be making its exclusive mark on Hallmark+ (again, like I said, odd). It follows hostess Connie Nielson as she tells stories about single mums. The show will air on Mondays.
LOVE in the CLOUDS – MAY 10
Paul Greene returns in this film about a hot air balloon pilot who, well, offers romantic balloon rides during the annual Balloon Fiesta, but doesn’t really believe in love. You’ll also meet a reporter who arrives to cover the fiesta.

LOVE on the DANUBE: LOVE SONG – MAY 17
While on a cruise, two passengers decide to matchmake their widowed parents, little realizing that as they cruise through European locales, perhaps they are matchmaking another couple, too!
LOVE on the DANUBE: ROYAL GETAWAY – MAY 24
The only film I’ve seen in the ‘Danube’ collection, this one is sweet and has Jessica Sipos playing a woman who meets (and of course, falls for) a stranger who also happens to be royalty. Dan Jeannotte co-stars.
LOVE on the DANUBE: KISSING STARS – MAY 31
Brendan Penny features in this film about a celebrity trying to promote his film and the publicist who he works with to help him find the audience connection he needs.
HALLMARK mystery
Part of a series, the Hallmark mystery “debut” this month is also a Hallmark+ original.
