‘JOURNEY OF MY HEART’ TAKES HEROINE ON ADVENTURE
One of those “tacked on” titles to a past Summer Night’s campaign, Journey of my Heart has the familiar Rhiannon Fish in the lead and is a role we’ve seen her play before.

A new assignment sends wildlife biologist Abby (Fish) to a remote place in Alaska where she finds connections with some of the locals. Her job is to follow up on the studies of the bald-headed eagle and their migration patterns, and while here, she meets Eric (Darien Martin), grandson of the woman who conducted these studies.
Despite some challenges and Abby finding her work challenged by Eric, she also discovers unexpected experiences and answers.

This is one of those travel “adventure” flicks that’s easy watching and not at all difficult to enjoy. It’s also a film putting Rhiannon Fish in a role I’ve seen her play before. Still, she’s good and always entertaining in the roles she plays and this is no different. The movie still keeps us interested and we watch with the assurance that everything is heading towards a happy end, which let’s be real, is all we want.
The film is set in Alaska, which is unique although trivia tells us it didn’t film there. Still, regardless of filming location, the movie boasts stunning aerial shots and beautiful scenic backdrops since a good potion of the film takes place outdoors. There are a few things about the script (and a tiny thing or two that differs from normal same-old-same-old scenes) I didn’t care for, but overall, if you like this network or any of Fish’s earlier titles, you’ll like Journey of my Heart.
Discover another charming 90 minute television movie that has a leading lady we know and always want to root one, which means that yes, this is another title worth seeing on one of those Saturday night’s in.
