On their block, Christmas is really a big deal. You really cannot get away without participation on the bustling Evergreen Lane, and yet this new season has Emily (Lacey Chabert) focusing on something a little different. She and Jared (Wes Brown) are saying I do, and it’s this that is occupying the time of everyone on Evergreen Lane.
But then new neighbors move in, and the Halloween obsessed couple inspires an entirely new level of festive rivalry between the neighbors.

In sharing about this film, I think it’s only fair that I state two things. The first is, Halloween movies in general aren’t something I see often but I did think Hallmark’s two most recent Halloween titles were fun and different. The second thing is, I didn’t love Haul out the Holly which is the first film that inspired this third franchise title. While I do enjoy a good spooky movie, I have never gravitated towards specific to Halloween titles. Still, if you are anything like this, just know this one is more sass than it is spooky!
In spite of these movie watching misgivings, I can admit (as is the usual rule) that of course Haul out the Halloween is cute. It’s very lighthearted and funny and even silly, which I think is always intentional anytime the network checks in on the Evergreen Lane gang. Fun for many will also be the new to the franchise addition of Kimberly J. Brown and Daniel Kountz from the Halloweentown movies. (Trivia says the pair is married in real life too!) Additionally, funny girl Melissa Peterman returns.
If you liked the first two films in this franchise (both of which were Christmas), then this will be fun to see. Given its history, it’s also a great title to bridge the gap from our current season into the network’s 2025 Christmas lineup.

Content: there is really nothing to mention about this title. The movie rates TV-G and is very much the normal range of content you find on this network, which includes a kiss or two and really, very little else.
