‘NCIS: TONY AND ZIVA’ RECAP: TALI COMES FIRST – AND IS THERE A HAPPY END?
Nine episodes have all led up to this, the grand final of NCIS: Tony and Ziva, a streaming show exclusive to Paramount+. This is episode 10 and given that it’s ending today we are writing a little recap of the show. The show for nine episodes switched between present day and the reunion, which fans knew happened but never saw on screen, between Tony and Ziva (affectionately known as Tiva). Their face to face was emotional and yet oddly beautiful too. So, let’s remember last week’s reveals and get into this finale recap.

In the present, Tony purposely infiltrates the compound of Graves which is where Jonah too is. However, just as Ziva and Company appear on the scene, they see Graves’ estate go up in smoke which causes Ziva to believe Tony is now dead. Then, in the rumble, the pair admit that they love each other and they should be together. But of course, there is more work to do.
Martine escapes the compound (after killing Graves) and Tali (how much do we love this girl’s killer spunk and moves??) along with Sophie find themselves in terrible danger. This all ends with Sophie making the call; they have Tali.

RESCUING TALI
Naturally, protective parents (to a special degree because it’s Tony and Ziva) activate, and these two will do anything, even at their own expense, to find their daughter. Resourceful as she is, Tali still needs a helping hand. Naturally, her parents are uniquely equipped to do this.
Despite the best efforts of Jonah (who calls to threaten them), the former government agents find their daughter. Before the reunion though, it’s Sophie and Martine who go after the girl. You see, Martine approaches them to team up as they continue their pursuit of clearing their names, something Jonah tries to smear. But with her safe, Jonah now threatens Martine, Sophie and even Claudette.
While the question of rescuing Tali may have been lingering at the end of last week’s episode (though we knew she would be fine), honestly, the real question we all have is something else…
DO TONY and ZIVA GET a HAPPY ENDING?
After the family effort and affair that is putting Jonah where he belongs, attention turns to settling into life again. Like almost any longstanding TV show couple, Tony and Ziva’s romance has had lots of stalls. Still, what we did learn (though we already know) is they do love each other (and we even get to hear this!). Naturally this further infuses their love story with the desired conclusion of seeing them have a happy ending.
So, do they?
Well, yes! They seem to. They clear their names, return to their respective businesses and seem ready, along with Tali (a theme throughout this series has been her wanting to be with her parents). The confession is they want to date again – which she gives her blessing for (as long as this isn’t only the adrenaline). So, at the end, they seem ready to put this behind them and maybe give that togetherness – the real sort, an honest chance.
