THE BEST AND SILLIEST CHRISTMAS MOVIE MOMENTS PART FOUR
Four weeks in and still I’m gathering up the best and silliest Christmas movie moments from the past week. Probably not interesting to most, so far, I’m having fun with this so as long as I continue to see “enough” titles to fill a list, well, I guess this will continue to exist.

BEST and SILLIEST CHRISTMAS MOVIE MOMENTS four
THE BEST aka cutest CAMEO COUPLE from Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story
No secret is made of the fact that 2025’s Holiday Touchdown would score plenty of cameos. It becomes a kind of game there is so many. The thing is, there is really only one this non-sports fan likes so now I’m asking how much do we love the cameo of a certain couple in Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story? Let me tell you, we love it.

It’s not only charming but for the eagle-eye Hallmark viewers, it’s a nice addition that avid and loyal fans can appreciate.

THE BEST ‘I LOVE YOU’ from Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story
This film plays (quite a bit) with the idea of silent love. There is more than one “for laughs” moment that has Gabe attempting to confess love for Morgan. However, he doesn’t manage it. Then, finally he does, and it’s a nice moment even though he doesn’t really mean to tell her in this way. Still, it works because it’s not planned, but rather it’s just him telling her why he admires her, which then leads to him confessing that he loves her.

KINDEST HEROINE from Merry Little Mystery
How much do I like Jordin Sparks’ Natasha from Merry Little Mystery? I like her a lot. She’s not only kind, but she also makes her relatable and easy to like.

MOST CHAOTIC FAMILY REUNION from Family Plan 2
I don’t think anyone can argue that the most chaotic family reunion (perhaps of this movie season!) should go to the Morgan family in the high-stakes action flick The Family Plan 2. The film, which isn’t exclusively Christmas in the way we think of a Hallmark movie centers (as far as timeframe) around Christmas. The holiday is also the reason for the Morgan’s visiting Europe, so yes, this one is in the niche seasonal category. That said, any reunion with assassins and a fake bank robbery is nothing if not chaotic.

THE MOST CHARMING DECLARATION from Mistletoe Murders
While any potential third season of Mistletoe Murders will give Emily and Sam more trouble, can I be allowed to bask in the charming declaration between these two? It all begins when the pair are – gasp! – locked in a freezer together (after Emily begins to worry about Sam, she goes looking for him and becomes a second victim). While in this predicament, she shares her real name and he shares why he struggles not knowing.

But then, later (after they are warm again), under the twinkling glow of the gazebo, the pair seem to declare their feelings for each other and we see them realize the past is just that, in the past, as they decide their present is most important, which they seal with a kiss!

THE SAVVIEST RESCUE from Harry Wild Special
This special, which is delightful but not overtly Christmas, features a savvy rescue that is hard not to cheer on. While I would have been happy seeing any one of the characters be a rescuer, seeing Lola do her thing and prove she’s the smart girl we already know this is, well this made for a great scene.

THE SWOONIEST ROMANTIC NIGHT from Champagne Problems
Given that it’s set in Paris, would it really be fair to let any other title from the week earn the most romance title? I think not. This one is all about Minka Kelly’s rising exec who is whisked away under the Paris stars for a night of romance by a handsome man she meets serendipitously in the bookstore.
The sequence is dreamy romanticism which then sets up a bumpier act two.
