SOME OF THE BOOKS ON MY SPRING 2025 TBR LIST!

Copying and repeating text for season TBRs is something I could easily do when curating these lists. The reason for this is because I just don’t read a great deal right now. But I do make the effort to read for an hour or so each day (or I have been since post-Christmas and the holidays) so who knows. Maybe that will pick up again and perhaps this spring 2025 book list can assist this.

LIST | A DREAM IS A WISH YOUR HEART MAKES: THE MANY ‘SNOW WHITE’ MOVIES

Years ago, season lists like this (which like I always say, I still love to create) were primarily made up of book titles that hadn’t been released yet. More recently, I’m all about balance. So while I add books that are highly anticipated, I try to keep it mostly titles I have on my shelf. This is because I do have plenty of books to read, and adding more (though I continue to), isn’t necessary. I added a few newer additions to my shelf, but did also revisit books from prior seasonal TBR lists, so I’m going to add in some from prior lists (because I still need to read them too). Let’s meet the spring 2025 book list titles I could read.

SPRING 2025 BOOK LIST

JULIETA and the ROMEOS, MARIA E. ANDREU

Readding this one because it does look fun, though the biggest reason is I did start to read it last year… and here we are. I didn’t go back to finish reading. Goodreads

THE LOVE HATERS, KATHERINE CENTER

I have this one on preorder (it arrives in May) and since I do want to read more by Katherine, I decided to add it. Reading anything by Center would, in my book, be an acceptable win for this seasonal TBR. Goodreads

FINLAY DONOVAN IS KILLING IT, ELLIE COSIMANO

I’ve had this one on my shelf for a while and additionally I see it making book lists, too. Hoping I find a good story inside. Goodreads

IS SHE REALLY GOING OUT WITH HIM?, SOPHIE COUSENS

Just read my first novel by Sophie, and now I’m curious enough to read more! Goodreads

NO STONE UNTURNED, JENELLE HOVDE

Received this one from Tyndale, which releases this summer, so I’m adding it to my list hoping this will inspire me to read it before that last minute read dash so that I can review it! Goodreads

A LADY’S GUIDE TO SCANDAL, SOPHIE IRWIN

I read the first historical novel by Sophie in this (not really but kind of) series. Reading this one seems necessary (because the first one is fun). Goodreads

JUST FRIENDS FOREVER, MARTHA KEYES

I’ve been seeing books by Martha on Instagram off and on for a long time now. I’ve never read one though, so adding this one maybe seems like a good idea and possibly inspiration to actually read it. Plus this one just has a super spring-like cover look with that pretty pastel yellow. Goodreads

PICKLEBALLERS, ILANA LONG

Got this one over the winter months and finally just now unboxed it. It seems like a fun little read and super spring like. Goodreads

THE RIVAL, EMMA LORD

I buy most of the new novels Emma releases despite only reading one by her (Tweet Cute). I think it’s mostly because they look so cute! Goodreads

POMONA AFTON CAN SO SOLVE A MURDER, BELLAMY ROSE

This one is a title I had never heard of. But I happened upon in in a recommended line when I was putting this list together. It sounds like a good deal of fun and early reviews (at the time this is coming together in February, but releases in March) seem to suggest this may be one to enjoy. Goodreads

THE CUPID CHRONICLES, COURTNEY WALSH

Just bought this just-released title (it hasn’t even arrived yet), but the concept of this book (which is part of a multi-author series) is fun. It is kind of like a collective same building story that also sprinkles in uses of magic. Have you read book one yet (by Emma St. Clair)? Goodreads

WISH I WERE HERE, MELISSA WIESNER

Recently picked this one up and it seems like a light-hearted and fun read, so why not add it to my seasonal TBR list. Plus, that cover art just seems cute and fun. Goodreads

    1. So true. There are so many books… and simply so little time. What is nice is that the different books are there to, in part, ensure that everyone will find something to enjoy. :)

  1. These look good. I have to add my deadline books otherwise I would never complete my lists (my lists also contain books on my shelves!).

I have the third Finlay Donovan book on my list! I am looking forward to it and hope that I don’t get too distracted by other books this year!

Enjoy them when you get to them!

    Have a great week!

    1. Thanks, Emily – you too! I hope all of these are fun reads, and the Finlay Donovan books have intrigued me for a while. I just need to read book one. :D

    1. Thanks so much for your thoughts on ‘Scandal.’ :) It’s always so disappointing when a sequel (or any book in a connected kind of series) disappoints. Thanks so much for visiting, Alice!

  2. I’m glad you’re reading again! That’s great, and I hope it works out well for you. This has been a long reading slump for you!

    1. So long! I’ve picked up my hour-a-weekday (or so) reading habit post all of the Christmas / New Year holidays and hope to keep that up. It helps to have that time and know that’s what I sit down to read. :) I finished one book yesterday so today I need to start a new one.

    1. Thanks, Cindy – I hope to enjoy these all too! I hear great things about Emma’s and Martha’s books (they are all over Instagram) but haven’t read them. Someday I need to read all of the books I haven’t read by Courtney, too. ;)

  3. I have a Sophie Cousens book on hold at my library, but I’m not sure which one. I hope it comes in soon. I need more light and fluffy reads.
