‘THE SNOW MUST GO ON’ INSPIRES UNEXPECTED ROMANCE
Lights and dance make up the primary focus of The Snow Must Go On making its play on words title super fun.
The Snow Must Go On (2025) Hallmark TV Film Review
Broadway was a dream that Isaiah Heyward (Corey Cott) lived and excelled in. But now, this seems like a distant dream he isn’t able to achieve. This sends him to the small town of his sister where he spends time with his teenage niece whose Christmas musical might be cancelled. You see, the performance needs a director and unable to say no to his niece, Aurora, Isiah takes on the position.
With encouragement from the school guidance counselor, Lilly-Anne (Heather Hemmens), he decides to make this a success. Something that becomes more complicated when he tries to take center stage after learning a Broadway producer will be in attendance. Priorities shift as Isaiah, his family and Lilly-Anne must come together to put on one magical performance.

‘THE SNOW MUST GO ON’ INSPIRES UNEXPECTED ROMANCE. #HeatherHemmens #Hallmark #CountdowntoChristmas #TheSnowMustGoOn Share on XNot the first performance romance from Hallmark, The Snow Must Go On is perhaps the one with the cutest title pun. It’s festive but also reveals what its story is about, too, which means it’s quite clever. Continuing in the footsteps of titles that came before (like 2022’s ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas), this one remains fun and perfectly fine.

This one doesn’t challenge the norm much, but I like Heather Hemmens, so it earns points because she was cast. Beyond this, the story has the usual family challenges and the complications in one’s profession; the moral lessons don’t land as well as they should (because the execution feels off), but they are here. If you liked other Hallmark titles from the year or Netflix’s The Merry Gentlemen (minus the stripping of course), well then, you should enjoy this.
