Two years ago, we put together a list of 12 Funny Thanksgiving TV episodes. I thought it was a fun idea because honestly, if I’ve seen an entire run of a TV show, sometimes it’s entertaining to revisit a select few of my favorite episodes. Some of these end up being seasonal episodes. Since this ends up being a forgotten holiday, putting together another list of funny Thanksgiving TV episodes just seemed like a good idea. Plus, this holiday can really bring the funny when it comes to storytelling!

2 BROKE GIRLS
Season One, Episode 10
We have this one on our Christmas TV list from last year, but the title also has Thanksgiving in it, so I’m assuming that shows up somewhere! It follows Caroline having to work for extra cash at the mall.
ACCORDING TO JIM
Seasons One, Two, Three, and Four; Episodes 8, 9, 11, and 8
I recently binge watched this now cancelled show and thought it was fun (I actually have a few episodes left). In season one, the Thanksgiving episode follows Jim having to keep track of his two tagalongs (his girls) while on the day he winds up having the perfect bowling game.
BETTER TOGETHER (or Better with You)
Season One, Episode 9
This short sitcom (which ran for only one season) had a fun cast, and concept about three couples in three different stages (parents, older sister and baby sister). This episode follows them all as they share glee when their Thanksgiving may actually be normal this year when their mom is unable to cook the meal. Stream on Roku or Tubi TV
BLUE BLOODS
Season Two, Episode 8
Family is always central in this TV show about cops and the prosecutor daughter, so it’s no wonder they would add a Thanksgiving episode to the roster.
BOY MEETS WORLD
Season Four, Episode 10
Cory is assigned a Thanksgiving assignment in this episode.
HART OF DIXIE
Season One, Episode 9
A feel-good show with plenty of heart, this episode shows lead character Zoe making plans to return to New York for Thanksgiving.
HOME ECONOMICS
Season Two, Episode 8
This former ABC comedy, following three siblings and their wildly different lives, did put out some funny seasonal episodes. This one is no exception as it follows the siblings who decide messing with tradition becomes the best way to have a better Thanksgiving.
LAST MAN STANDING
Season Three, Episode 9
Follows a man (Tim Allen) living in a house of four women (wife, three daughters). This episode, Thanksgiving themed, of course, Mike’s father pays the family a visit and announces his plans to open a recreational marijuana store. If you know the character, this is a hilarious episode.
MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE
Season Five, Episode 5
Malcolm decides to skip Thanksgiving in favor of a party while Reese becomes testy while trying to cook the ideal dinner! Stream (at publication) with Hulu
MARRY ME
Season One, Episode 5
When Annie tries to host the most perfect and ideal Thanksgiving, she ends up clashing with Jake’s mother!
Season Three, Episode 10
Yes we did include a Thanksgiving episode from New Girl in our list from 2021, but this show… it’s too funny to snub. (And this coming from someone who hasn’t even finished the show yet!) This episode sees Jess and Nick take the gang camping. Of course, I am sure everything and anything will go wrong.
UGLY BETTY
Season One, Episode 8
All sorts of Thanksgiving plans play out in this comedy episode, though they don’t all go smoothly.
