A hocky romance, these will adapt the Elle Kennedy novels where season one will follow “the sexy and fun “opposites attract” romance between quiet songwriter, Hannah, and Briar University’s all-star hockey athlete, Garrett.”

Prime Video announced this week that season one (which is being hyped as a college soap) will debut on May 13.

According to reports and a “first look” photo released by Apple Original Films, their next big budget feature is in production. Titled What Happens at Night, the film has big names in front and behind the camera which include Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence, and Martin Scorsese. Described as a “thriller” and adaptation, the film, according to its book synopsis (via Goodreads) the film will likely follow an American couple who “travels to a strange, snowy European city to adopt a baby. It’s a difficult journey that leaves the wife, who is struggling with cancer, desperately weak, and her husband worries that her illness will prevent the orphanage from releasing their child.”
