6 Books That Make Me Curious in the Latter Half of 2019! Top Ten Tuesday

by

Welcome back to Finding Wonderland readers and friends – and happy Tuesday. The official Top Ten Tuesday June 18 topic is:

That Artsy Reader Girl | June 18: Most Anticipated Releases of the Second Half of 2019Top Ten Tuesday June 18

So… I’ve already talked quite a lot about anticipated reads for the second half of 2019. BUT since I did know this ‘Top Ten’ topic was coming, I tried really hard to find enough books to talk about all-new reads in each ‘part’ of this “books I’m excited for” group of publications. (Exhibit aka ‘part 1’ and exhibit b aka ‘part 2.’) However, this list isn’t maybe made up of my most anticipated reads (those are probably mostly found in Finding Wonderland’s latest video), but rather these are more books I’m curious about.

If you’ve read any of these, let me know which are worth a read. Without further ado, let’s have a look see at the six books on today’s list.

Top Ten Tuesday June 18

[sc name=”Disclosure Notice”]

1: Fake it Till You Break It by Jenn P. Nguyen (June) | Why,  yes, this one is already out, but it sounds so darn cute. I haven it on my shelf, now I must read it. Amazon | Goodreads

2: Vow of Justice by Lynette Eason (August, Revell) | Way behind on Lynette’s more recent releases, but I’m SUPER excited to read this series. Its premise reminds me of a kind of Blue Bloods scenario because of its tight knit family unit. Amazon | Goodreads

3: Finding Lady Enderly by Joanna Davidson Politano (August, Bethany House) | I’m not a historical aficionado (in fiction), but this one sounds interesting… so I’m curious. Amazon | Goodreads

4: American Royals by Katharine McGee (September, Random House) | This one is a kind of an American fairy-tale, and it sounds fun. Again, one I’m curious about. Katharine is also the author of The Thousandth Floor. Amazon | Goodreads

5: She’s the Worst by Lauren Spieller (September, Simon and Schuster) | Only recently discovered this one, so I know next to nothing about it. But it does sound interesting…?? Amazon | Goodreads

6: Frankly in Love by David Yoon (September, G.P. Putnam’s Sons Books for Young Readers) | A fake dating trope? I’d give this one a chance – and its plot makes me wonder who will end up with whom? Amazon | Goodreads

    1. SO FUN! I never win anything I enter. I think I’ve won once GR giveaway, and maybe a blog giveaway, both of which were years ago. ;) Still, it’s fun to enter. Hope your good luck continues, Brooke. Thanks for the visit!! :)

  1. I just got the She’s the Worst earc and I can’t wait to read it. Honestly had not heard much about it at first either, but it looks really great!

  2. I never did read the Thousandth Floor but thought it looked good. Looks like maybe she’s writing something a little different with this one? Looks fun!

    Great list. :)

    1. I’m REALLY excited about ‘Fake It’ because it sounds cuuute! “American Royals” I’m cautiously optimistic about. Sounds fun though. Hope we both enjoy – and thanks for the visit, Kay. :)

    1. I didn’t even notice any “My Fair Lady” connection, Kathy. But now you mention it, I can see that. Gotta’ love a bit of suspense thrown in too!! :) Thanks for the visit.

    1. YES! I’m so glad to hear this, Candyce. I was hoping it’d be just this. :) Enjoy “American Royals”!! Thanks so much for the visit today.

    1. Doesn’t it sound so fun, Nicole!? I’m curious about it, especially since I like Nicola’s book “Everything, Everything.” Hope you enjoy the other two on your TBR – and I agree. Too little time to read all the amazing books in this world. How shall we manage it!? Thanks for visiting today. :)

  3. I haven’t read Vow of Justice yet, but it’s on my list today! I have been loving the Blue Justice series so far and I totally get Blue Bloods feels from it! I think you’d really enjoy it, Rissi! ?

    1. I haven’t read any of this series (yet), but knowing it’s by Lynette Eason means I’m sure to enjoy – and that’s the impression I have too! That it’s got some “Blue Bloods” feels, which makes me like it more. :) Thanks so much for visiting, Caitlyn.

  4. TASTE, you have it. Also, I’m so ecstatic to see you’ve included American Royals AND Fake it Till You Break It. I am beyond stoked to read both. I keep hoping my library will get Fake it Till You Break It in already but nooooooooope! Sigh, sad face, etc etc.

    1. HOORAY! Hope we both enjoy the two you mention, Jessica. :) Keeping my fingers crossed your library adds ‘Fake it’ to their shelves. Thanks so much for stopping in!

    1. Thanks, Lindsey – I’m glad to know you enjoyed ‘Fake it’!! I hope to enjoy it as well. Hope you enjoy ‘Royals.’ :) Thanks bunches for visiting.
