MAKE A WISH! 11 OF THE WISH LIST BOOKS

Wishes take center stage this week as we feature books again, this time it’s all about wish list books. I feel like this is something we all can relate to because, well, I’m sure we always have titles that fit that aka the books that we don’t nab, but are curious about. So, it’s perhaps nice to spotlight those types of books once in a while. Let’s meet which books fit this category for me.

WISH LIST BOOKS

THE AGATHAS, KATHLEEN GLASGOW, LIZ LAWSON

This one uses Agatha Christie’s name in its marketing so I have long been curious about it. It’s one I think I almost ordered a few times too. Have you read it? Goodreads

THE BEST FRIENDS’ PLAYLIST, JESSICA KING

Apart from the synopsis, I don’t know anything about this book. But it does have 200 reviews on Amazon and the average rating is relatively high, so combine that with the cute cover and sure, I’ll add this one to my wish list. Just because I can. Goodreads

CONFESSIONS OF A GRAMMAR QUEEN, ELIZA KNIGHT

I’m not really sure this would be a “me” book based on the plot, but I have enjoyed lots of workplace stories and the cover drew me in, so well, maybe I’d give it a chance. It also has an endorsement from Katherine Reay, too! Goodreads

MAKE A WISH! 11 OF THE WISH LIST BOOKS. A list of #WishList titles I am considering adding to my (overwhelmed) bookshelf. How many have you read? #Books #BookList Share on X

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING, DEBBIE JOHNSON

This one is, like others on this list, from my “Dear Santa” wish list, and isn’t on my shelf so I’m adding it. Just because. This may not really be a “me book” just because I’m not drawn to women’s fiction but the whimsy of the cover art interests me and I’ve seen a couple films with a heroine who likes stats and numbers that I did enjoy… so that combined makes me curious. Goodreads

BOOKS by GABRIELLE MEYER

I am seeing (and have been seeing) so much good about Gabrielle’s books so someday reading hers makes me curious. Who knows maybe someday I will. I think I even added book one (she writes popular time slip fiction) to my B&N cart once, but then ordered something else or maybe I haven’t ordered again since then, I cannot remember Either way, maybe someday I’ll get there. Goodreads

HEIDI LUCY LOSES HER MIND, GRACIE RUTH MITCHELL

Like another on this list, adding this one is add since first I haven’t read book on in this series (so will I even like it?) and secondly, I haven’t read anything by Mitchell. So… is it something I’d enjoy? Goodreads

TWO SECONDS TOO LATE, DANI PETTREY

This one came out in April and is probably the first novel by Dani I didn’t get right away. To be fair, I did have it on preorder and then, well, that cancelled (the store cancelled it!). Why, I do not know. Goodreads

THE ENGLISH MASTERPIECE, KATHERINE REAY

It’s been, well, a while since I read Katherine’s newer releases. This makes me quite sad but also, when I do, there is lots to catch up on! Goodreads

POMONA AFTON CAN SO SOLVE A MURDER, BELLAMY ROSE

I’ve almost ordered this one a couple times. But then didn’t because I’m still unsure if it will be a “me” read. Have any of you read this one? What did you think? Goodreads

MAKE A WISH! 11 OF THE WISH LIST BOOKS. A collection of titles that fit nicely on my wish list. Which would you add to your lists?

MIDNIGHT on the SCOTTISH SHORE, SARAH SUNDIN

Sarah’s books are always so well written and just… Good. Hoping this continues with this release, too. Goodreads

MR. NICE SPY, TIANA SMITH

Silly perhaps to have this one on the list (the second one at least!) since I haven’t read The Spy and I, which I did buy, but I did read Smith’s YA release, so I’m hoping to enjoy these adult novels. Plus the whole spy concept and that cover do make them seem like a good time. Goodreads

What are the books on your wish list? How may of these have you… or would you read? Comment all of your wish list book hopes! Let’s talk.

    1. It sure does seem like it could indeed be a fun one, Anne! I’ve been really curious about it for a while now. Guess I just need to decide if I do or don’t want to add it to the TBR. ;)

    1. I hear SO much good about Gabrielle’s books, Carrie! :) They do look gorgeous and I am definitely intrigued. Thank you for visiting here, too.

  1. Great list! I am unfamiliar with any of these, but there are a few that sound really good. Knowing if a book is a ‘me’ read or not makes it so tough to make the jump and buy it, but when I’m not sure, the library has been an infallible resource for me. If I read and fall in love with the book, that’s when it goes on my ‘to-buy’ list. Otherwise, it’s a nice read and I supported my local libraries. Hopefully you get your hands on some of these and discover that they’re very ‘you’ books.

    1. I’ve never used the library, but I know most readers LOVE it. I’ve donated books to my library, and I think my mom or aunt looked into using it when I was a kid, but we lived just outside the line for using it or something so there would have been a fee or something. I cannot remember the whole story but I think since I didn’t grow up using the library, I just don’t think about using it as an adult. :)
