Hello, happy readers! Welcome to Finding Wonderland. Tell me, what new (or old!) reads are you discovering and loving these days? Who doesn’t love talking upcoming books with this ‘Waiting on Wednesday’ community meme?? We again have a ‘Waiting on Wednesday: Edition Thirty-Seven’ which features a novel by an author I have read before.

Waiting on Wednesday: Edition Thirty-Seven

To be honest, I haven’t read as many of the novels as this author has published. But those I did read, I enjoyed! I know I’ve read a full-length novel and novella by Tammy L. Gray. This is why when I saw she had a novel coming from one of my favorite publishers, I was kind of ecstatic!

Love and a Little White Lie sounds, even off the top with its title, a bit different than the normal contemporary novels I read, but this doesn’t dampen my excitement. It still sounds lovely, and I’m eager to discover what Tammy will write next for us.

LOVE AND A LITTLE WHITE LIE

Author: Tammy L. Gray | Publisher: Bethany House
Genre: Fiction; Contemporary | Publication Date: August 2020

After hitting rock bottom, January decides she has nothing to lose in working at her aunt’s church–while hiding a lack of faith. A minor deception until she meets the church’s guitarist and sparks fly. Can she avoid disaster–especially when a handsome landscape architect has an annoying ability to push her to deal with feelings she’d rather keep buried? – Goodreads

It’s Wednesday which means there’s another fun meme that bloggers enjoy taking part in. Today’s feature is all about the books we’re “Waiting On” with Can’t Wait Wednesday; a meme Finding Wonderland occasionally takes part in. Organized by the lovely Tressa of Wishful Endings, here’s another edition of Can’t Wait Wednesday. Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted here to spotlight and talk about the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released as well. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by the fabulous Jill at Breaking the Spine. (Find out more here.)

I don’t read a lot of this genre but I am drawn in by the cover and I do love the name January.

It’s always nice when an author you’ve read before and enjoyed has a new book coming out!

This sounds so cute –I haven’t read anything by Tammy L. Gray. Carla Laureano’s Saturday Night Supper Club trilogy is one of the best recent contemporaries I’ve gotten to. Hope you’ve been doing well, Rissi!
