Listen to Your Heart by Kasie West | Book Review
REVIEW | When it comes times to end the day, most of the time I prefer a light-hearted read versus one that will get my pulse racing with its high-action or mystery complex. A novel like Listen to Your Heart is ideal. It’s short, sweet and so charming. But then given who authors this, it’s 100% easy to “buy” into this truth.
This novel may have the look of summer-time (and it is in fact, one of THE most ideal end of summer reads), but really, it’s the perfect kind of read for any day. Especially those days you want something light-hearted and fun. Listen to Your Heart delivers this and then some. The podcast angle is fun and relevant, especially to today’s society, and the characters too help to make us turn the pages with ease, and eagerness to see what comes next.
There’s fun family dynamics, and the romance, though perhaps “quick” (by a means to develop) is as swoonily sweet. Of the books I’ve read by West (all but one), this is probably my favorite thus far. Each one is like a little bit of sunshine, there to warm you with adorableness, and brighten your day with its fun premise. This is the one that keeps me guessing most which makes it a pure delight from first to last page.
