SOME GOOD SERIES TO FINISH READING BECAUSE I WANT TO!

When it comes to series, I always seem to have books in series I haven’t read. While series (specifically series we want more from) is the list rule today, honestly, much as I’d sometimes like this, I think most series I read end nicely. What more can a reader hope for? Sure, we love knowing more about favorite characters, but if they get a happy or at least satisfying end that’s all we need. series to finish

What I’m going to search my bookshelves for is the series I haven’t finished reading – yet! These are series I’d still like to read and finish them because, even if they’ve been on my shelf for years, they still seem like they’d be enjoyable. Let’s search my shelves and see what books fit this description.

BOOKS IN SERIES TO FINISH AND THAT I HAVEN’T READ

THE SELECTION, KIERA CASS

I’ve read books one and two (The Selection, The Elite) but haven’t read book three in the series The One. And while imperfect, I do want to complete the series because these are “easy” and entertaining reads for me. Goodreads

ROYAL WEDDING SERIES, RACHEL HAUCK

Perhaps being a bit too hard on myself with this since I have read all three of the full novels in this series and it’s A Royal Christmas Wedding which I think is significantly shorter that I haven’t read. Goodreads

TRULY DEVIOUS, MAUREEN JOHNSON

Ok, so this series hasn’t been on my shelf for long. But I read Truly Devious and now I would like to finish this boarding school mystery set. The first book was entertaining but since the first three are all connected, of course there IS a cliffhanger. Goodreads

HERRINGFORD & WATTS, RACHEL MCMILLAN

Despite enjoying books one and two and reading some of the novellas, I haven’t read the third novel in this series. At least I don’t think so. But then since I haven’t logged into my Goodreads page in years, maybe I would have a rating there that I’ve forgotten about and cannot see without logging in. Goodreads

ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS, STEPHANIE PERKINS

Technically this trio isn’t a series per say, but ‘Anna,’ Lola and the Boy Next Door and Isla and the Happily Ever After do go together, and I still haven’t read Isla’s story. Goodreads

GEEK GIRL, HOLLY SMALE

Loved the books I read in this series (three I think) are just darling. Hoping to finish these despite them being YA. They’re just cuute. Goodreads

WAVES OF FREEDOM, SARAH SUNDIN

Read books one and two, and we’ve established how well I adore them. Now I just need to read book three! Sure it’ll be as good as its predecessors. The series is set during WWII and the different relationships that establish. Goodreads

MONTANA RESCUE, SUSAN MAY WARREN

Read book one in this series Wild Montana Skies and did enjoy it. It’s one of those cute adventure stories and Susan writes fiction. I’d like to finish these. Goodreads

    1. I really did enjoy book one in the Montana series so I would enjoy to finish those books. Cannot wait. :) Hope you’re enjoying Rachel’s books. They’re lots of fun.

  1. I have a horrible habit of not reading the last book in a series I love when it hasn’t come out yet when I finish the next to last book. It’s like I want to keep having it to look forward to and I know that after I read it the series will be over. Weird!

    1. I understand that. I don’t think I’m that way with books as much as TV shows. I tend to do that with those more than anything. Why I don’t know. :)
