If either of them are your favorite, you may love knowing that CBS gave Ghosts an early third season (to drop fall 2023) renewal and the Paramount+ revival of Criminal Minds is getting a season two renewal that will film this year. Additionally in CBS TV news, the three-show crossover event for the NCIS franchise “smash,” according to reports, its season high ratings.

If you loved Glen Powell in Top Gun: Maverick or know him from my introduction to him, Set It Up, then you might like knowing he’s going back to that comedy genre. Will Gluck will direct what’s described as an R-rated romantic comedy that Gluck is re-writing, and featuring Powell alongside Sydney Sweeney. Known for his comedies like Friends with Benefits and Easy A, given that information, I can already tell, this won’t be my kind of rom-com. Will it be yours?

24 actor Kiefer Sutherland will return to TV in the Paramount+ series Rabbit Hole, which is said to be a spy drama. The series will debut March 26.

In a story that I fully meant to include in last week’s roundup and missed, Stephan Moffatt publicly asks former co-stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman to return! During a TV appearance, he says he’d “start writing tomorrow” if the co-stars return. I think back in the day, there were also rumors that the Sherlock co-stars didn’t get along which is perhaps part of why a fifth season never came to be. But it could just be that the respective stars’ careers exploded in the years post Sherlock as well.

This past Tuesday evening was the Golden Globes. Honestly, I cannot remember who was even up for what awards nor did I watch the telecast. But I did scan the Red Carpet photos published a little write up about the fashion. It honestly left me questioning “fashion,” but it was also kind of fun if you want to check out the post.

If you’re a fan of The Good Doctor, then you may like knowing that there’s a backdoor pilot in the works for a spinoff called The Good Lawyer featuring Kennedy McMann and. Felicity Huffman. Huffman is known for many roles while McMann is fresh off her titular role in Nancy Drew.

The upcoming, as in this February, PG-13 Netflix romantic comedy Your Place or Mine with Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher dropped its trailer this week. I didn’t watch it because I’m sincerely liking going into films without an expectation. This time I think this one might be fun given its stars and the rating. We’ll see. If you want to view the trailer, it’s part of this text hyperlink.

In additional trailer debuts and news, the trailer for Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret is out. The film is an adaptation of the Judy Blume novel.
