We have established that I don’t watch the award shows any longer. However, sometimes I do scroll through the fashion. Most of the time it makes me shake my head and wonder at this being the moment the star wanted to go for. But it’s become kind of a fun exercise to see if I can find anything I like. So as last night was the Grammy’s, let’s look into some of the Grammy 2023 fashion. Just because.

Still there is lots of star power here and lots of tulle, too. So we’re going to feature some of the styles that at least pass for a dress or ensemble and see if we can find anything else. Funny thing is, anytime I’m part of a poll or a social media conversation about fashion, most people think I don’t get it (fashion looks) or whatnot. Honestly… even if an award show (which I hear something like the Grammy’s is) promotes crazier looks, even taking this into consideration, still, I find it weird. Either way, I did spy a couple looks that are pretty. Let’s see what they are.
GRAMMY FASHION 2023
CLASSIC
Some of these looks tend more on the classic side of what I found on the Red Carpet. Amanda Kloots is very classic looking in her one-shoulder black number while Hillary Scott went, what I’ll call, “business classic” in a floor length blazer style dress.
GLITTER
Sometimes we need a glitter moment amiright!? 90s star Fran Drescher shows up with all the sparkles as did Taylor Swift in a popular two-piece style. At first glance, I did like Taylor’s, but something is slightly “off” about it. I think it’s maybe the cut? I’m not sure. I love the color, upswept ‘do and big earrings!
UNIQUE
If something like the Grammy’s is supposed to be “bolder” or a little wilder for fashion, I like something like what Charl D’Amelio is wearing. It’s got classic elements, but I think the design makes it a little more unique and fun. Also, we have some BIG bows and ruffles with Adele’s dress whereas I really can’t with Jennifer Lopez.
