A FEW OF THE ST. PATRICK’S DAY TV EPISODES TO MAKE YOU LAUGH
Writing about holidays or days that don’t have the significance or importance of something like Easter or Christmas can be fun. Such is the case with this, our St. Patrick’s Day TV episodes list because sometimes this can be fun. And if there’s one thing these film or TV or character lists like to achieve, it’s a bit of fun. Plus on days like St. Patrick’s or Valentine’s day, perhaps you just want to watch an episode of some TV show and enjoy the fun of the day though it. st patricks day tv episodes

🍀A FEW OF THE ST. PATRICK’S DAY TV EPISODES TO MAKE YOU LAUGH🍀 #STPATRICKSDAY #GREEN #TVEPISODES #TV #STPATTYSDAY Share on XEven with some diligent digging around, it was tough to come up with a few TV episodes to feature. Something I do find odd. Isn’t there more TV shows that take advantage of the St. Patty’s shenanigans? Seems like a sitcoms dream. But I digress, let’s see what we did find and then of course, tell us what we’re missing.
ST. PATRICK’S DAY TV EPISODES
2 BROKE GIRLS
EPISODE: “And the Kilt Trip” – Season Three, Episode 19
Han (the boss of the titular girls) plays a leprechaun in this episode so it’s probably a good time, right? In other happenings, Caroline tries to let go of more past traditions while Max and her pals get wild during the parade!
Stream with Roku Channel; or find available to digitally purchase on places like Prime Video
ACCORDING to JIM
EPISODE: “The Green Line” – Season Five, Episode 20
I’ve never seen (I have since seen most of the seasons, and it is a funny one) this show. At least not that I remember but it does sound kind of funny and this is an episode that involves the titular character’s wife warning him to behave on St. Patrick’s Day. Do we think he does? The obvious answer is probably not. st patricks day tv episodes
Stream with Prime Video; or find available to digitally purchase on places like Prime Video
ALL in the FAMILY
EPISODE: “Too Good Edith” – Season Nine, Episode 25
This one revolves around a St. Patrick’s Day party and in addition to its festive seasonal-ness, this serves as the All in the Family series finale, too.
Stream select seasons (1 and 9) on Tubi TV; or search places like Amazon for DVD copies
BEVERLY HILLS, 90210
EPISODE: “Fortune Cookie” – Season Nine, Episode 20
This episode description does specifically mention the March holiday so I think it’s safe to say the episode does use the seventeenth as a part of its story. One that includes trying to promote a boutique and a newspaper hiring someone to play a leprechaun.
Stream with Paramount+; or find available to digitally purchase on places like Prime Video
BEWITCHED
EPISODE: “The Leprechaun” – Season Two, Episode 27
I don’t think I’ve ever seen an episode of Bewitched, but this one is titled “The Leprechaun,” so it kind of has to be included. Additionally, rumor has it that the episodes titled “If the Show Pinches,” and “Out of the Mouths of Babes” are also St. Patrick’s Day esque. In the case of the episode we have featured, Samantha tries to help a leprechaun from Darrin’s side of the family!
Stream with Hulu or Roku Channel; or find available to digitally purchase on places like Prime Video
BONANZA
EPISODE: “Hoss and the Leprechauns” – Season Five, Episode 12
This is one of those old western shows that, today, probably has things wrong with it according to certain social media groups. It did feature a young Michael Landon before he played Pa Ingalls in Little House on the Prairie. Among the shows I used to flip around watching on TV (yes, I used to do this) as a kid, this one had lots of adventure but not a lot of staying power for the characters (if they met new people, or fell in love, etc.). In this episodic plot, a group of leprechauns causes the town to lose their mind over the prospect of gold. st patricks day tv episodes
Stream with Plex or Tubi (select seasons) (or check Roku Channel for select episodes); or search places like Amazon for DVD copies.
CSI: NY
EPISODE: “Pot of Gold” – Season Six, Episode 7
In this crime drama, the team discovers the murder case they’re on has ties to a story two journalist bloggers on covering. The episode is titled “Pot of Gold” and though I would have watched the entirety of this show, I don’t remember specifics like how much is St. Patty’s Day about the episode!
Stream with Paramount+ (or check Pluto TV); or find available to digitally purchase on places like Prime Video
EARLY EDITION
EPISODE: “Luck o the Irish” – Season Four, Episode 22
I watched some of this a while back when DVDs were still (sort of) cool. It was such a “breath of fresh air” type of story and I wish we still had TV on like this. Sadly, there isn’t a place where you can watch this show in full but if there ever is, I will definitely start from the beginning and enjoy what I’ve seen already. It’s just a good show featuring Kyle Chandler before Friday Night Lights. Also despite the title of this episode (also the series ender) being “Luck of the Irish,” I’m not sure how green this episode is!
Still, the plot of the episode sounds funny following hte hero (played by Chandler) ruining someone’s chance to win the lottery and then somehow, he winds up having to pretend to be engaged and deal with family who believe its all for real!
Sadly, this show isn’t readily available to stream; check places like Amazon for DVD copies.
HOME IMPROVEMENT
EPISODE: “Desperately Seeking Willow” – Season Seven, Episode 19
I know as a kid I watched some of this show, but it’s been so long, please don’t ask me to remember details let alone this specific episode. Still, its a sitcom, so we know there has to be some laughs to be had, right? The plot involves Tim (played by Tim Allen) and Jill (played by Patricia Richardson) taking in Willow while her house is having work done, a teen who ends up worrying them a great deal with her late night shenanigans!
Stream with Disney+ and Hulu; or find available to digitally purchase on places like Prime Video
MURDER, SHE WROTE
EPISODE: “A Killing in Cork” – Season Ten, Episode 7
This isn’t about the seventeenth of March specifically but it is a story where Jessica Fletcher (the author turned amateur sleuth!) travels to Ireland and so, I’m including it just for fun. There are also quite a few other Irish themed episodes in this cozy mystery’s history.
Stream with Tubi; or find the seasons available to digitally purchase on places like Prime Video
NCIS
EPISODE: “Blarney” – Season Seventeen, Episode 19
In this, two of NCIS’ brightest find themselves as hostages when armed men enter the diner. It’s not a traditional “happy” kind of seasonal installment but it IS NCIS, so you know they still get in an appropriate reference or two. st patricks day tv episodes
Stream select seasons with Paramount+; or find the seasons available to digitally purchase on places like Prime Video
SABRINA the TEENAGE WITCH
EPISODE: “Salem, the Boy” – Season Three, Episode 17
This episode features Salem (yes, the cat!) being able to return to human form but trouble comes around (as its bound to do) when Sabrina’s nemesis, Roland, reappears!
Stream select seasons with Paramount+; Tubi TV also has seasons; or find the seasons available to digitally purchase on places like Prime Video
