TEN of the MOST RECENT ADDITIONS to my BOOKSHELF

It’s always fun to show off our ten recent book purchases. Whether we received them from a publisher or bought them, a good book is always appreciated and it’s fun to add something new to the shelf. If I’m ever at a loss for a book list idea, this is something I really enjoy doing because any new additions we add to our shelf, well, they deserve to be shown off a bit. ten recent bookshelf purchases

It’s the turn of my latest additions to the bookshelf to shine. We’re going to see what we have stacked up from recent Barnes and Noble orders, and what needs to be shelved to find our latest finds. Let’s cut this opening conversation short and get right to those books, shall we?

TEN RECENT BOOK PURCHASES

JULIETA AND THE ROMEOS, MARIA E. ANDREU

This cover art is just so whimsical and fun. Goodreads

THE BODYGUARD, KATHERINE CENTER

I adored Katherine’s Happiness for Beginners, so I’m hopeful more of Katherine’s novels are equally charming. Goodreads ten recent book purchases

BEST SERVED HOT, AMANDA ELLIOT

I’ve been read about Amanda’s novels for a while now but haven’t read one. Hopefully this one, now that it’s on my shelf, will be the one I finally read. The plot is all about foodies, and two opposing restaurant critics. Goodreads

ONE SMALL SECRET, ESTHER HATCH

A seasonal book that looked cute about best friends who suddenly realize they may have a deeper connection. Goodreads

HOST FOR THE HOLIDAYS, MARTHA KEYES

Martha’s novels do sound cute (Paris things happen in this one). I have seen some of her novels featured on social media, but haven’t read any yet. However, now I own a couple so here’s hoping. Goodreads

JUST FRIENDS FOREVER, MARTHA KEYES

The second novel I picked up by Martha, this too, like the Christmas romance, seems like it’d be charming. This one is about a recently divorced A-list actress who escapes life to stay with her best friend. Goodreads ten recent book purchases

IN THE BALLROOM WITH THE CANDLESTICK, DIANA PETERFREUND

This one is the third (and dramatic final) installment in the Clue Mystery stories, following the Blackbrook Academy students as they solve mysteries and forge new and unexpected relationships. Goodreads

THE MYSTERY GUEST, NITA PROSE

Haven’t read The Maid yet, but I’m curious about this book duo so I had to pick this one up. Goodreads

THE MISTLETOE BLUFF, EMILY SCHNEIDER

Presumably all about festive cheer alongside romance, this novel does look charming. Same goes for Emily’s first novel The Heart Shot which looks lovely. This one involves fake dating an archnemesis. Goodreads

HIS STAND-IN HOLIDAY GIRLFRIEND, KASEY STOCKTON

Another Christmas read (that includes trying to make an ex jealous). Question is, as someone who rarely reads seasonal novels (though I have good intentions to), why do I keep buying them? Goodreads

Are any of these titles on your shelf? Which ones have you read (and which ones are worth the time)? What books did you feature today? What would be on your ten recent book purchases list? Let’s meet in the comment section. I look forward to conversing with you all. ten recent book purchases

    1. Ooo, fun! Hope we both enjoy The Mystery Guest. It certainly looks intriguing. But I’ll admit I haven’t read much about it since I read book one and I’m leaning towards going into this one “blind.” :)

    1. I played Clue too and have recently started playing board games again so I’ve re-played it a few times in recent weeks. It’s still fun! Hope we both enjoy the titles we share on our TBR, and you too! Hope you enjoy all of your new finds. :)
