‘A CINDERELLA STORY’ TWENTY YEARS LATER CELEBRATION + QUIZ
On a random day in July, twenty years ago, we met a hero and heroine living in a modern fairytale. Hard to believe, but it is indeed true. On that day in July, so many summers ago, Chad Michael Murray’s hero was the kind of guy many girls were crushing on. When I saw a random clip on Instagram of Murray talking about it being twenty years since the debut of A Cinderella Story, well I knew we had to include this one in our movie anniversary line up as we celebrate A Cinderella Story twenty years later (with a quiz, too!).

‘A CINDERELLA STORY’ TWENTY YEARS LATER CELEBRATION + QUIZ. Remembering #HilaryDuff's 2004 modern #fairytale flick with #ChadMichaelMurray. #MovieQuiz #Quiz #MovieAnniversary Share on XIf you didn’t know the story, well, it’s about Hilary Duff’s Cinderella-esque character whose annoying stepmother and stepsiblings make her life more than a little bit miserable while she keeps up the running of the business her dad built. We also meet Chad Michael Murray the popular football star, he’s the guy who’s quite untouchable and all the popular kids let our Cinderella know this. The film is a typical teen comedy, but the things that stands it apart, even with the outdated technology or clothing, is that it’s a wholesome film that’s all sunshine and charm, a combination we rarely find today.
Although, unlike me, some don’t find this film sweet as an adult, based on an editorial headline I saw while putting this together.
Let’s celebrate A Cinderella Story twenty years later with one of our simple and silly quizzes.
