POP CULTURE NEWS ONE HUNDRED and FIFTY-FOUR
Rumor has it that Amazon is eyeing a spinoff of their popular drama Reacher. The character who would potentially receive the starring role in any spinoff is Maria Sten’s Frances Neadley. Honestly, I do love this character but I don’t want her to have her own spinoff because that would mean she’d leave Reacher and being Jack’s best crime fighting partner. According to articles Amazon Prime is “fast-tracking” this spinoff though Amazon made no comment on this rumor. Would you watch this spinoff?
Hallmark officially set the release for what will very likely be one of their highest rated Christmas movies in years, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, for November 30. The film will feature Tyler Hynes and Hunter King in a story about a woman with a football crazy family who compete to win the ultimate fan experience. Whether we want to admit it or not, all appearance suggest the influence of this one is the Taylor Swift and NFL love affair that began during the 2023 season.

If you like reality TV and watch Dancing with the Stars, the cast list was announced and includes Tori Spelling, Ilona Maher (the Olympic rugby star), Eric Roberts, and Reginald VelJohnson who we loved in the 90s sitcom Family Matters.
If you’re a fan of 9-1-1: Lone Star, then you may have seen that the rumors are true. Following its upcoming fifth season, this will be the final season of the Fox drama.
To ring in the new year, January 12th if you’d like preciseness, the much loved All Creatures Great and Small will return to Masterpiece for its fifth-year run. Of course, Twitter is happy to welcome Tristan back who was absent from season four. The synopsis overview of this season reads, in part, “[It’s] Spring 1941 and we return to Darrowby to find young baby Jimmy keeping everyone in Skeldale House on their toes. Helen is getting the hang of motherhood with James away at RAF Abingdon, Mrs. Hall and Siegfried are enjoying having a little one around and Carmody is now a full-fledged member of the Skeldale family. […] Siegfried is keen to have everyone back, but Tristan’s surprise return won’t be quite as straightforward as he hoped.” The network also dropped a trailer should you wish to (possibly!) spoil yourself on season teasers.

Is it just me, or does the couple wearing the football jackets look like Emily Blunt and John Krasinski?
I didn’t even notice, Heidi! I have had that reaction to someone on a book cover before though. That’s for a Hallmark movie with Hunter King and Tyler Hynes. 99.9% sure this Hallmark Christmas film (coming in 2024) is happening because of the whole Taylor Swift and NFL love affair. ;)
