UPTV CELEBRATES ANNIVERSARY
Christmas movie season just around the corner for many networks. This means most if not all of the networks are either teasing or putting out their full schedules, most of which begin in the final days of October. UPtv is one of these networks adding their voice to the world of festive cheer. Additionally, according to a press release, UPtv also has an exciting milestone they will hit on October 30. The network is celebrating its twentieth year. In addition to their Christmas movies starting on November 3, you can read more about how they’re celebrating via their X (aka Twitter) page.
Speaking of Christmas movies, the start of their movie begins on November 3 with Country Roads Christmas featuring Lanie McAuley. Their 2024 Christmas season will end on December 22 with North by North: A Dial S Mystery. The network will have twelve movies plus other musical specials. Further Hallmark+ news reveals casting for their upcoming TV series Ripple. Frankie Faison, Julia Chan, Ian Harding (The Magic of Lemon Drops) and Sydney Agudong will “lead” the cast according to reports. The show is set to follow four strangers whose lives intertwine. The series which will consist of hourlong episodes will debut in 2025.
Netflix has cancelled That 90s Show after two seasons. A kind of sequel to the former show (which has been off air for several years now) That 70s Show.
