TEN BOOKS THAT HAVE A FLOWER IN THE TITLE
Spring is fully here and with it, the content I write likes to follow the seasons. Resulting from this, we’re going to feature some title play today as the structure for this new book list. I’m not sure how successful I’ll be at finding what I want, but I’m going to try and find ten books with flower titles because does anything get more spring-like than flowers.

TEN BOOKS THAT HAVE A FLOWER IN THE TITLE. A #TopTen book list. Have many do you recognize? #BookList #TopTenTuesday #SpringBooks Share on XI think I’ll be able to find books that fit this, but I’m also not sure. This said, I do like to challenge myself with things like this (perhaps needlessly so). We’re diving in right now to see how this goes.
TEN BOOKS with FLOWER TITLES
THE WIDOW of LARKSPUR INN, LAWANA BLACKWELL
According to my minimal research, the Larkspur plant or floral is a part of the Delphinium family. Because of this, I’m making this older historical title fit on our list. It’s also a title I read many moons ago. Goodreads
THE ROSE of WINSLOW STREET, ELIZABETH CAMDEN
A title I read years ago (like usual), I remember liking this one. But don’t ask me to recall details! Goodreads
MEET me on LILAC LANE, ANDREA CHRISTIANSON
This is an upcoming May release. Its title is ideal though for the list and it sure looks pretty too. The plot is a second change romance about a widow who finds new love and possibilities with the man who she’s always been “the one” for. Goodreads
ROSEMARY COTTAGE, COLLEEN COBLE
Another title I read years ago. It was a sweet read as I remember and has a woman trying to heal in the aftermath of her brother’s death and the Coast Guard hero who helps her. Goodreads
ROSES will BLOOM AGAIN & YELLOW ROSE BRIDE, LORI COPELAND
I read these titles a long time ago and seem to remember I did enjoy the contemporary. Lori is also an author I really did like. ‘Roses’ on Goodreads | ‘Yellow Rose’ on Goodreads
WILDFLOWERS from WINTER, KATIE GANSHERT
This list is stacking up to be all about books that are from my past reading days! I read this one once upon a time, too but don’t ask me to remember details. Goodreads

HONEYSUCKLE DREAMS and ON MAGNOLIA LANE, DENISE HUNTER
Both of these have ideal titles for the list today, and they look it too! Neither of them are books I’ve read, but back in the day, I did read lots of Denise’s novels and found many among them to enjoy. ‘Honeysuckle’ on Goodreads | ‘Magnolia’ on Goodreads
THE MYSTERY at LILAC INN, CAROLYN KEENE
I’ve never read it but do own this Nancy Drew mystery story. Goodreads
ROSES for MAMA, JANETTE OKE
A years ago read for me, this one is all about an older sibling raising younger siblings. It’s a sweet premise if I remember right and is one of those “gentle” kind of prairie fiction stories that has a bit of wholesome romance, too. Goodreads
PETALS and PLOT TWISTS, JENNY PROCTOR
This is a recent release and not one I’ve read. But I mean how cute does it look? It may not have the usual flower in its title, but I’m counting it because it does boast ‘petals’ in its titling. Goodreads
ELIZABETH I: RED ROSE OF THE HOUSE OF TUDOR, KATHRYN LASKY
This is one from my childhood and I don’t remember much about this one but I’ve had it for a long time on my shelf and it is one I did read back in the day so that’s a plus (anytime I can add a book to a list that I have read feels like a win). Goodreads
MAGGIE ROSE, SHARLENE MACLAREN
Another western type read I read a long time ago. Goodreads
BEYOND HEATHER HILLS, MELISSA WILEY
In this case, I’m saying Heather refers to florals. Though I’m not sure if it actually does. Still we’re rolling with it and making it work. Goodreads

Linking up with That Artsy Reader Girl April 29: Books with the Word “[Insert Word Here]” in the Title (Choose a word and find ten books with that word in the title.)
Clever twist. I am wondering if I’ve read any books with flowers in the titles. This must have taken some work to find the variety.
All about searching those shelves when putting together these lists. ;)
Great twist on this week’s theme! A lovely list of books. Here’s my TTT for this week: https://damppebbles.com/2025/04/29/toptentuesday-29th-april-2025/
Thanks for visiting, Emma. :)
Petals and Plot Twists looks so cute!!
Right?! I think so too! Such a cute cover.
We picked similar themes this week!
So fun! Off to read your list… :)
The Mystery at Lilac Inn & Roses for Mama are two of my lifelong faves :)
I read “Roses for Mama” years ago. If I’d read it again today, it would be so nostalgic. :)
And these are all pretty titles!
They are indeed. :)
I love that you went with different flowers this week!
It was fun. :)
Very fun and perfect for spring! I have read several of these. I meant to get to Petals and Plot Twists this month, but didn’t, hopefully next month. Have a great week!
I’m betting Petals and Plot Twists will be a great May read too. :)
Flower titles are so pretty.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
They sure are!
So many lovely floral titles!

Yes, yes there are! :)
Spring flowers are great! I can’t recall the details of the books I loved 10 minutes later. That’s why I have to write the reviews right away. A lot of great covers on this list!
Glad I’m not alone in my reader forgetfulness, Carla. :)
This is a good topic – I always think about flowers in the springtime, and they’ve really popped in the last few weeks! I haven’t read any of these, but I love the Belladonna series by Adalyn Grace.
I’ve seen the Belladonna books making the rounds on lists and such. May be some I should take a second look at! :)
