‘A KELLER CHRISTMAS VACATION’ IS ONE FUN CHAOTIC ADVENTURE!
A movie that tries to capture the spirit of other “disaster” like family comedies taking place at Christmas, A Keller Christmas Vacation is a seasonal story about estranged siblings. In this we meet the three Keller siblings, each having established lives of their own. Worried about their kids drifting, their parents, Anne and Ben, decide to help. They do this by booking a river cruise that travels the Danube River beginning in Germany and ending in Vienna where they can tour stunning European Christmas sights. Needless to say, these adult kids are less than pleased.

Dylan (Jonathan Bennett) is the middle child who outwardly has it all together but struggles to settle. Daughter, and youngest child Emory (Eden Sher) is the one without a life-is-all-together-plan. Then there is Cal (Brandon Routh), the former athlete. He’s coming off a divorce and just like his siblings, is dealing with some challenges.

See #JonathanBennett team up with #EdenSher and #BrandonRouth in 2025 #ChristmasMovie. #AKellerChristmasVacation Share on XSome people seem to love movies that step away from romance and have relationships that look closer at other bonds. In this case, the primary is the bonds between siblings, even though they have more than one tear. I think the concept of A Keller Christmas Vacation is fun and like that it is able to feature a favorite (in Bennett) star while also folding in Eden Sher (a newcomer to Hallmark). Of course, though it’s been a long time, Brandon Routh stars in a long-standing favorite The Nine Lives of Christmas, so all in all, I think Hallmark did the max they could in casting this film for possible high ratings.

Unexpectedly funny in places, A Keller Christmas Vacation is a little something for everyone. It’s also surprisingly heartwarming and deeper than most network movies this time of year. More shocking is that as a viewer, I actually liked this. Furthermore if you like the primary to step outside romance, you’ll find that (although there is a little romance sprinkled in, too). If you like comedy, again, it’s here, too. There is lots of laughter and colorful cheer, and I do think many fans will find in this another charming Christmas flick.

Content: This one is the usual TV-G rating and has the normal content. There is a same sex romance (if this bothers you) and each of the relationships show either a challenge or two and of course, the usual kisses here and there.
