‘CAUGHT BY LOVE’: ESCAPE IN A FUN ROMANTIC-COMEDY!
In this premiere, we are reminded of a Christmas movie from this same network. Caught by Love is most definitely the most entertaining Winter Escape movie of 2026.

Doing life alone may not have been the original plan of Annie Collins (Rachael Leigh Cook) but she’s comfortable now. This life also leads her to take the place of someone else on a solo trip. She’s spending time at a gorgeous resort where, quite unexpectedly, a curious mystery pulls her in. That thing is an investigation involving stolen jewels!
Together, she starts sleuthing on the case with Jake (Luke Macfarlane). A successful businessman (or is he?), he finds the overly curious Annie is clever. They soon find they have complimentary insights which may provide the final clue.

They’ve all been fun and full of adventure because of the “escape” elements, but the mix of rom-com and mystery works nicely with in this formula. Plus, this one reminds me of The Christmas Charade which is a most unique seasonal fare title of its premiere year.
The “fun” is better in this concept because of the thief angle, and it just feels a little different when the marketing isn’t for a mystery. (Or at least not in the way this network’s more traditional mystery movies are.) I also love seeing Rachael Leigh Cook again in a movie after missing her from any of the Christmas flicks; of course Luke is a fan favorite, too.
In the end, I easily recommend Caught by Love. It has a fast pace (of course), and just all around the usual good time we know and expect from the titles with the crown moniker.
